Shayne:

I jolted awake to the sound off an explosion. I looked around the apartment before I realized it was just on the TV. The time on the cable box below the TV read 9:10 AM. Olivia was still sleeping on top of me. I tried to move my legs but her legs were completely intertwined with mine so it was pointless. Her head also rested on my chest making sure I couldn't sit up either. I was pretty sure she was drooling a little bit on my shirt. I had a decision to make. Wake Olivia up and face her morning breath or continue to lay still and admire my beautiful wife? I'll admit it was pretty funny to see her head go up and down with my chest when I breathed. I decided to risk her crankiness because my throat was completely parched. I started to move to untangle myself. I tried to roll Olivia off me onto the couch while I stood up but of course it didn't go as planned. She rolled the complete opposite way and fell on the carpet floor.

"Ugggghhh" She groaned stirring.

She wasn't fully awake yet so I decided to help her out. I picked her up bridal style and carried her to the bedroom. I placed her gently on the bed underneath the covers. I gave her a kiss on the forehead before going to the kitchen. The refrigerator beeped as I opened it to grab a water bottle. I took a swig and replenished my thirst. After I put the bottle back in the fridge I glanced at the food options. Instead of going with a breakfast burrito, I decided to make Olivia and I breakfast. After all it was our first morning as a married couple. I grabbed the eggs, bacon, tomatoes and cheese and set them on the kitchen counters. I got a pan off the rack and placed it on the stove. I started the scrambled eggs while I looked for a pan for the bacon. After searching the rack I finally found one. I placed it on the stove next to the eggs and began to cook the bacon. I sliced the tomatoes and put them off to the side after adding dashes of salt and pepper to them. I was about halfway done plating the food when Olivia stumbled out of our bedroom.

"Ahh, I get it, you smelled the food and decided to come ea-" I began to say.

I looked over at her and my jaw dropped. She was wearing what would've been her wedding dress. I had never seen it before and thought I never would.

"You like it?" She asked.

It was a beautiful white lace dress with a matching vale. It fit her perfectly down to the stitches. The dress complimented her every curve.

"It's beautiful" I said picking up my jaw.

"Haha thanks" Olivia said smiling.

"... You hungry?" I said holding up a finished plate.

"Always" She said and sat down at the bar.

I placed her food down in front of her and then grabbed my plate. I joined her at the bar. We dug in having our first home meal in a while. After we had finished Olivia complimented my cooking.

"This is so good" She said.

"Thanks" I said staring at her dress again.

My eyes gazed to a spot near her left arm. Oh crap! There was a stain from the tomato juice.

"Oh crap" I said pointing at the stain.

"Aw man, guess I can't return it now" She said.

Suddenly I had an idea.

"So... If you can't return it, it's yours now right?" I asked curiously.

"Uhh I guess so" She said confused.

"So that means we can damage it as much as we want?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"Uhh yeah, but why would you?" She said furrowing her eyebrows.
