Wild Thoughts (Shaylivia)

Lunch

Olivia:

Shayne was out to lunch with Vanessa while I was at home going over our wedding plans. Shayne agreed to let me choose the theme and outfits because I told him that I would fight him if he didn't. I decided to go with black dresses for my bridesmaids and black for the groomsmen as well. I was still thinking of ideas for the then when I got a text message. I pulled my phone out of my pocket to see who it was from.

-Unknown
--Hey Shayne gave me your number, ita Vanessa.

Uh ok? I wonder why Shayne gave her my number. Does he expect me to be friends with this girl? I shook the negative thoughts out of my head. I guess it was good that he wanted his friends to be my friends. I decided to send a text back.

-Olivia
--Hey Vanessa! Hope all is well.

I put my phone down and went back to my laptop. Not soon after I sent the text my phone buzzed again. That was quick I say. I check my phone to see what she texted back.

-Vanessa
--All is well, I just wanted you to know that Shayne is mine.

What the fuck!? Who does this girl think she is? Does she honestly think she can take Shayne away from me. I have half a mind to show up to their lunch and give her a piece of my mind in person. Instead I text her back.

-Olivia
--Uhh excuse me? What is wrong with you?

I get a text back. This time though it came with a photo. The photo was her and Shayne laughing while taking a selfie.

-Vanessa
--Dont worry, he'll soon be under my charm.

At this point I was steaming mad. I close my laptop and grab my purse and keys. I send her one last text before going out the door.

-Olivia
--I don't know who you think you are but I'm on my way to your little lunch right now.

I hopped in my car and drove to the restaurant Shayne said he was meeting her at. I asked the waiter where Shayne was and he pointed to a table. I saw Shayne sipping a lemonade but no Vanessa. I walked up to Shayne mad.

"Liv? What are you doing here?" Shayne said suprised.

"Where is she?" I asked annoyed.

"Vanessa?" He said confused.

"Yes, where is she?" I said.

"She left a couple minutes ago" He said completely unaware.

"Damn" I said.

"What's going on?" He asked.

I thought about telling him what Vanessa texted me. The other part of me believed that I could handle it on my own. Plus I wanted to see if he was completely loyal to me. I decided to not tell him.

"Uh nothing" I lied.

"You sure?" He said.

"Yeah, I was just uh finished with my work and thought I'd pop in and say hi" I lied again.

"That was nice of you" He says smiling.

"Well, anyways I goyya get going" I say.

"Really? You just got here" He said disappointed.

"Sorry, I just have to take care of something at home" I say.

"Ok, I'll see you at home later then" He said.

"I look forward to it" I said giving him a peck on the cheek.

I waved goodbye and got in my car. I drove home with Vanessa and Shayne on my mind. I had hope that he would reject her but the world works in mysterious ways. I'll just have to wait and find out.
