Olivia:
I walked into the office the next day and saw the squad sitting at their desks working. I see Shayne and start to walk towards him. I tap him on the shoulder as he's got headphones on.
"Hey Olivia, what's up?" He says smiling.
"Hi, are you doing anything after work today?" I ask him.
"I was going to go to the movie theatre with Damien but he bailed" He says.
"Oh, that sucks" I say
"Yeah another time maybe" Shayne says.
"Anyway what's up?" He says.
"Um I was wondering if you wanted to go to the beach with me?" I ask
"Sure, I have no other plans anyway" He says.
"Great my suit is at home so after work so you want to carpool to mine then the beach?" I ask hopefully
"Sounds like a plan!" Shayne says and smiles.
Courtney walks over and butts into the conversation.
"What you guys up to?" She asks
"Olivia and I are going to the beach after work today, you wanna come?" Shayne says.
"Yeah, sounds like fun! Is that ok Liv?" She asks me while giving me a stare.
"Yeah sure" I mumble.
"Great it's a date" Courtney says and walks away.
Ugghhh why do you have to be so nice to everyone Shayne?? I think to myself. Now I have to deal with Courtney instead of just me and Shayne bonding. Hopefully everything goes well.
