Friends Forever

Chapter 7

I parked my car in my driveway and got out before locking it and make my way to the front doors. I got inside and walk in to the living room.

Squealing when I saw mum and dad sitting there." You're back!" I exclaimed and throw myself at them.

Both of them laugh, "Okay, loosen on the grip. We're not going anywhere anytime soon." Dad laugh.

I give a small chuckle and pull back. "Well, I'd love to stay and chat but I have assessment to complete." I told them. They nod in understand and waved me off. I smile and kiss their cheeks before going up the stairs to my room.

I walk in and grab my pj's before going in the bathroom and have a nice long hot shower to relax my body. After I've done showering, I dry my body before putting on my pj's and towel dry my hair.

I walk back to my room and start brushing my hair before going to my desk to do my assignment. In between the studies, I heard my phone buzzed but I've ignored it.

I groaned when my phone starts buzzing again. I reluctantly got up from my seat and walk to my nightstand where my phone is charging. All the message is from an unknown number. I hesitantly open up the first one.

'Hi Maddi. Miss me? -A'

A? As in Ashton? I groaned and replied him, 'How did you get my number ash?' Few minutes later, he replied me back.

Him: Don't you remember? In class, I snatch your phone away from you.

Me: Ooh sneaky bitch sneaky

Him: Funny.

Me: Didn't hear you laugh though.

Him: Shut up maddi

Me: haha whatever. I need to complete my assignment so chao.

Him: Such a nerd Maddison. Live a little. :P

I rolled my eyes and put my phone away and start doing my assignment. I managed to complete it in one hour before my mum start calling me for dinner.

I walk out my room and make my way downstairs. I smile when I see my parents sitting there waiting for me.

"Finally, thought you died while doing your assignment." dad exclaimed.

"Oh Pete, stop being dramatic please." mum retorted.

I laugh and went to take my sit with them. Mum has prepared pasta and garlic bread. "Smells good mum." I stated truthfully.

"Thanks honey. Dig in guys. Come on." she said.

"You don't have to tell me twice." dad answered and stuff his face with food. I laugh at dad. "Chew with your mouth close dad. That's disgusting." I exclaimed when dad open his mouth showing me his half chewing food in his mouth.

"Maddison! Wake up. Thought you had your dance lesson today!" I heard mum called out. I groaned and buried my face in the pillow.

"Maddison Ariel Corby! Get up! You're gonna be late." mum yelled.

I sigh and got up, "I'm up! I'm up!"

I reluctantly got out of my comforting bed and walk over to my closet and pick my outfit for the day. I picked out my spaghetti top with hoodie and my yoga pants. I make my way to the bathroom and brush my teeth and wash my face before jumping in the shower to wash my body.

I make my way downstairs after I've done dressing up. "Took you long enough." mum muttered.

I rolled my eyes, "Oh by the way, Bob found a new chef for the restaurants. He just waiting for you approval though." I told her.
