Chapter 33

Maddison POV

It's been two months since it happened. Christmas is coming very soon since Halloween is last week. I dressed up as Juliet while Ashton is the Romeo. The whole group decide to go for like the Shakespeare theme for Halloween thus the reason why we dress as Romeo and Juliet.

And Nathan and Andrea actually had their first kiss that night. And they start seeing each other ever since then. Nate finally moved on from Kat, well not completely but he's almost there.

Andrea is more than happy when he told her that he was ready to actually go out on a date with her and start a new leaf with her. She's so excited about that, she can hardly eat properly for that whole week. 

"Hi beautiful." he said before peck my lips.

I smile up at him and he sat beside me, pulling me closer. "Can you believe it that we will be graduation in few more months!" Alli exclaimed as she sit across from us with Daniel.

I shrug, "I can. It always happened Alli. You grew up. You can't stay in high school forever." I retorted sarcastically.

Ashton and Dan laugh. Alli glare at Dan making him stop laughing, "Yeah not cool Maddi." he said as he stifle a laugh.

Alli rolled her eyes and turn to me, "Anyway tell me about your dad and Cassandra." she stated.

I grinned, "They're doing well. In fact, they have a date this Saturday which I can't wait for. But I have to stay over with Cassandra's son cause she don't trust him alone at home." I told her. She squeal happily.

Ashton groaned, "Really? Must you hang out with that guy? I don't like him." He grumbled at the end.

Dad and Cassandra has been going out for awhile. We find out that she had a son, Jay, who is 20 years old. He still in uni but studying just nearby. We met before and I did bump into him a couple of times with Ashton. Ashton didn't like him instantly cause he assume that he flirted with me which is a false.

Jay is a very nice and sweet guy. He treat me like a sister already.

"Jay is nice Ashton. And I already told you before, I won't cheat on you. Which part of that did you not understand?" I exclaimed. He huffed, "You're my girl. You were suppose to be on my side, not his!" he retorted.

"No! I'm on the good and the right side!" I shot back.

He gasped, "So you're saying I'm wrong?" He said feigning hurt. I rolled my eyes, "Most of the time, you always wrong." I muttered and crossed my arms, pouting.

He laugh and kiss my cheek, "I'm just kidding. I know you love me." He said as he stroke my cheek. I rolled my eyes and snorted.

Someone clear their throat and we look away. Kathryn, Hailey and Lily stood by our table staring at us sadly.

I smile at them while Alli just rolled her eyes and huff. "What do you want?" she snapped. I glare at her and kick her under the table. She jumped. "Ouch! You evil woman! There's no need to kick me." she exclaimed as she rubbed her legs. I just rolled my eyes at her and look at Kathryn.

"What do you want?" I asked.

She sigh, "I'm here to say I'm sorry." she said. "I know I didn't deserve this but here me out." she quickly added when I open my mouth to say something. I close my mouth and look at her.

She ran her hand to her already messy hair. "The reason why I did that all was because I had to." she started, "James well, he was holding something against me. And I had no choice but to follow him. And the reason why I was so bitchy to you because I was hating myself. My family is falling apart. My sister has ran away to who knows where. And I need someone to lash out, so I guess I lash out on you. And when I lost Nathan, I hate myself more but I force myself to think that you're the reason why we broke up."
