Ashton POV
"So how come we're leaving earlier than the rest? I want to carry Lila longer." Maddi whined. We stayed for an hour with mum and mum basically interrogate Maddi. At some point mum asked her about her mother and she got really uncomfortable, so I decided to leave with her and spend the rest of the night together.
I shrug, "I just want to spend some time with you." I told her.
She smile at me sweetly. "Well, my dad's gonna kill me for cancelling a last minute dinner with him and Cassandra." she stated, "But it's worth it anyway." she added looking at me lovingly.
My chest tightened. God, How am I supposed to do this kind of stuff to her tomorrow?
I force a smile and intertwined our hands. "Well you're worth everything to me anyway." I admitted. She look down on the ground, blushing. "Let's go to my house yeah? Okay." I declared.
I drag her to my car and open the passanger side for her. She thanked me before getting in and I carefully close the door and walk to the other side of the car. I put on my seat belt and start the engine. "Why are we going to your house?" She asked me curiously.
"Movie marathon. Duh." I answered in a matter-of-fact tone.
She rolled her eyes and put her seatbelt. I smile and let out a breathe and start driving back to my house. The drive back to my house was quiet. I didn't say anything and she didn't. She just sing softly to the song on the radio. I parked the car in my driveway and shut the engine off.
"Alright! We're here." I announced.
She rolled her eyes, "Yeah I can see that." she retorted. I chuckle and shook my head. We got out of the car and I hold her hand and walk towards my house. I unlocked the front door and let her get inside first. She shrugged off her jacket, I take it away from her and hang it on the jacket hanger thingy.
I lead her up to my room which is far on the corner at the right. Once we entered my room, she look around and whistled. "Nice! I always thought you'll have a messy room." she told me.
I laugh, "Not all boys are like that." I said. She nod her head, "Apparently."
I sit on my queen size bed and pat the spot right next to me, gesturing her to sit next to me. She smile and walk towards the bed and sit, bouncing on the bed for awhile.
I cleared my throat, "What movie do you want to watch?" I asked.
She shrug, "Anything's fine." she answered. I smirk, "So you're fine if I pick a horror movie?" I asked. She scoff, "What part of anything's fine did you not understand?"
I laugh and shook my head. I stood up and went over to dvds collection I had in my room. "Shit! I don't have any horror movies here." I cursed.
She laugh, the kind of laugh where I've grown to love. "Then too bad. Hey, do you have any chick flick movie?" she joked.
I stiffened. She look at me wide eyes, "You do?!" she asked surprised. She stood up and stood beside me racking the names of the dvds. She start laughing when she saw the romance movies.
"God! I never take you as the guy who watch romance." she said.
I gasped, "What? Are you saying that guys don't capable of being emotional?" I asked, feigning hurt. She stop laughing and shrug, "Guys hardly get hurt though. You won't see them crying." she answered. "That's because they keep their feelings well hidden." she added quietly, smiling to herself.
I squinted my eyes. "What are you thinking?" I asked her curiously.
She blink and look at me, shaking her head. "Nothing, pick your movie." she said. I grinned, "I kind of have another idea." I told her, stepping forward towards her.
