Axis' POV

Hindi ko na namalayan pero nasa harapan na ko ng Kristair. Simula ng mabanggit sakin ni Aya ang restaurant na to, hindi ko alam kung bakit hindi to mawala sa isip ko.

Pakiramdam ko kailangan ko tong puntahan kahit hindi ko naman alam kung ano ba ang dapat kong asahan.

"Good Afternoon Sir. Welcome to Kristair. Table for how many Sir?" The waitress greeted me politely.

"One."

Tumango ito. "This way Sir." Pinaupo niya ko sa isang table for two na nasa may dulo ng restaurant.

There's nothing special about the place but I can feel my heart beating fast and I really don't know why.

"Here's our menu Sir."

I was given a menu with the name of the restaurant. 'Kristair'

"If I may ask, alam mo ba kung saan nakuha yung pangalan ng restaurant?"

"Ay pasensiya na po Sir, bago lang din po ako dito. Hindi ko po alam."

"It's okay." I smiled. "I was just really curious. The restaurant's name is unique. By the way, what's your specialty here?" I asked.

"Pork sinigang po Sir. Lahat po ng customer namin dito, hindi pwedeng hindi umalis ng hindi nakakakain nun."

Nagbalik na naman sa isipan ko yung araw na pinagluto ako ni Alice ng pork sinigang.

"Okay. Give me pork sinigang, chicken adobo, and kare-kare."

"How many rice Sir?"

"1 cup will do and give me a vodka."

"Your food will be serve within 5-10 minutes Sir. If you need any assistance, you can beep that buzzer." Turo niya sa isang buzzer na nasa gitna ng table.

"Cool. Thanks."

I glance at the place one more time pero wala talagang kakaiba. What am I really doing here?

I immediately answered my phone when it rang. "Hello?"

"Where are you Axis? Kanina pa ko nagtetext sayo hindi ka naman sumasagot! Nasa office mo ako! You told me you will be here today! Where the hell are you?"

"Calm down babe. I'm sorry okay? Hindi ko napansin yung phone ko." Paliwanag ko. "Do you want to eat lunch with me? I'm actually here at a restaurant. Ipapasundo kita sa driver ko."

"No thanks. Bye!" Binabaan na niya ko ng phone.

I tried contacting her pero naka-off na yung phone niya.

She really changed a lot. Namimiss ko na yung girlfriend ko malambing at hindi mainitin ang ulo.

I tried calling Aya instead. Maybe I just need someone to talk to.

"Hi kuya! Miss mo agad ako? Napatawag ka kuya?"

"Well I just want to invite you for lunch. I'm actually here at Kristair. Nandito ka kahapon diba-"

"ANONG GINAGAWA MO DIYAN?"

"Gusto ko lang sanang i-try yung food-"

"DIBA SABI KO SAYO HINDI MASARAP DIYAN!"

"Oo nga. Na-curious lang talaga ko sa pangalan ng restaurant. It's very interesting."

"UMALIS KA NA DIYAN!"
