~His story~
Taehyung's POV
I gently pull the shivering boy out of the toilet stall, leaving the bathroom as I hold him close tightly. I feel his head burry into my chest as he clutches my shirt whilst I guide him towards my dressing room.
Slowly opening the door, I urge Yoongi to keep walking as I pull him. I sit him on the small, two seater leather sofa. He instantly curls up into a small ball, hugging one of the cushions. Sitting next to him, I place a woolly blanket over his small figure as he shuffles into the corner of the sofa.
"Yoongi, take your time in telling me because-"
"No. I want to tell you Taehyung. I've never told anyone about my childhood except Jungkook and I think now that my mother is here, I want to let it out." I feel my self getting slightly jealous at the fact he has already told Jungkook, but I also feel kind of special that he is telling me before his other friends.
I urge him on by stroking his back calming as I got closer to him.
"W-well you see, when I was around 7 or 8 I liked to crossdress- a-as you already know." I smile at his flustered face as he remembers how I took the picture of him. "It was kind of a secret really. M-my parents never knew about it. M-most of the time they were at work, so I was left alone during the day unless I had school." I nod slowly.
"Why would your parents leave you by yourself?" I ask, concerned about how he was raised as a child.
"Well they thought that I went to my friends house, which was a total lie." I mentally sighed in relief, happy that he wasn't purposely just left and forgotten during the day. "Whilst they were gone, I put on my girls clothes and snook out to go to this park that I lived close by to."
I tried to process what he was saying whilst he took a little break from talking. So he was basically scared of his mother and father seeing him like that so he took the opportunity to do what he wanted?
I nod to him, wanting him to carry on.
"It was a very big and beautiful park. I would often go wondering in the small woods and sit inside a circle of bushes where I used to sing." I almost started laughing. Yoongi used to sing? I honestly can't picture him singing at all.
His face went a little red in embarrassment as he carried on talking. "I wasn't good at singing. But I'm glad I did though because then I would never have met Jungkook." I watch as he twiddled his thumbs cutely whilst smiling at the thought. "He started yelling at me to stop singing, but I only smiled at him and showed him kindness I guess. We got to know each other and he became my best friend. I told him everything. And that's actually how I got that picture. Jungkook took it."So that's who took that cute picture. I couldn't help but smile at the way Yoongi was enthusiastically telling me the story.
"Jungkook gave me the photo to keep and I took it home and left it on my desk. My father saw it and scolded me, asking me what it was. I told him truthfully that I liked crossdressing and he started to abuse me, hurt me." He explains, his voice saddening after each word.
"My mother found out she was furious. Not at me, but at my father. She slapped him and cursed at him for doing such a thing. She was on my side at first, telling me that I can be interested in anything I wanted. But my father was defiantly against that." I saw the tears brim in Yoongi's eyes.
I bring my index thinner underneath his eye to wipe the tears as he carries on. "But as my mother protected me, he got even angrier and started to abuse my mom. After a long period time, my mother changed. Her kind and soft expression was extinguished and she kept lashing herself at me, hurting me and at times she had to be stopped by my father." I gasp quietly, my curiosity and worry for Yoongi only growing stronger.
"My mom burnt my clothes and often stayed at home to make sure I wasn't sneaking out. I could tell they still had a little bit of heart for me but one day my father came home drunk and lost control, almost killing me." I could tell he didn't want to go much further but I didn't stop him.
"My mom told me to get out, so I ended up staying at Jungkook's house for a few years until my mother regained some of her soft and gentle heart and rented me a place at your father's apartment." His tears trickled down his cheeks as I bring him in closer to me, hugging him tightly.
"Shh it's okay. You don't need to carry on anymore." I whisper into his ear as he leans his head against my chest. We stay like that for a while before he regains his raspy voice.
"We should go. I don't want to run away from her anymore." I nod, smiling softly at him. He is extremely cute when he acts like this, but I can't help but feel happy at the confidence in his voice.
"But before we do that, let's get you cleaned up." I help him stand as he nods obediently.
