Flashback
Each passing day Skylar got more worried about Vince. He was getting more worse. Abby said he only had two days and that terrified Skylar. She didn't leave his side, so Bellamy practically had to drag her away from the room. They were in Bellamy's room, Skylar pacing around while Bellamy watched her in worry.
"I'm sure Vince is going to be fine," Bellamy tried to reassure her.
Skylar bit her nail. "But what if he's not. Today could be his last day. I should....I should be with him, not here." Skylar started to walk out, but Bellamy ran up and grabbed her by her waist. "Bellamy, let go. I have to be with Vince."
"No. No. No. Vince is going to be fine." Skylar started to sob. Bellamy's chest ache as he turned his girlfriend around. He tilted her face up. "Hey. This is Vince we're talking about. He can be stubborn when he wants to be. He won't let this thing kill him." He gave her a small smile. "Watch, by tomorrow, he'll be up and out about. Probably trying to find a game he could beat me at."
Bellamy felt a bit proud when he got her to chuckle. "You guys and your games."
Bellamy smiled at her. "What can I say? I always win."
Skylar pulled away and hit his arm. "That's because you cheat."
Bellamy held his arms up in defense. "You're the one who wanted to help."
Skylar laughed, but didn't say anything after that. She began thinking. The only reason Vince isn't getting better is because of the stupid dosage they were allowed to give him. It's not enough to keep him alive because they're barley giving him any. If Vince got the full dosage, he'll be better in the morning. Skylar knew what she had to do. Bellamy noticed Skylar's blank stare and knew right away.
He shook his head. "No." Skylar snapped her gaze at him. "I know what you're thinking, Sky. You can't be seriously thinking about breaking into the med-bay?"
"Why not? I could finally get the medicine Vince needs," she responded.
"And if they catch you -"
"They won't."
"What if they do? Sky, you'll get floated."
"I know that. But if it will help Vince -"
"And if it doesn't. His life isn't worth yours."
Skylar scoffed. "That's your opinion. Vince would have done the same thing for me if the roles were reversed. Hell, if it was me or Octavia, you would have done it."
"That's different."
"How is that different? Because it's coming from you. I already made my mind up about this, Bellamy. I'm getting that medicine whether you like it or not. You can't stop me."
Bellamy was going to speak, but Skylar wanted to have the last word and left. Bellamy ran to catch up with her, but his front door got slammed in his face. Bellamy sighed in annoyance before he broke the lamp in frustration. The sound of it braking made Octavia jump.
"Bellamy?" She called out worryingly. "Everything ok?"
Bellamy sighed as he looked at his sister. "Yeah, O. Everything's ok."
