Skylar felt like absolute shit when she woke up. She remembered what happened last night and her eyes widened when she thought she and Bellamy had sex. She was wearing his jacket without her shirt underneath and it was zipped down. So, of course, she was gonna panic when she saw that. Then she remembered that he didn't let it get that far. That Bellamy didn't take advantage of her drunken state. She was grateful for that.

"I think I almost ate a branch," Vince told her as they walked around the camp. Skylar was looking for Bellamy to give back his jacket and at least say thanks.

Skylar gave him a confused look. "Why?"

"I think it said something about it being licorice and that it's delicious."

Skylar chuckled. "Well, at least you didn't kiss Bellamy and tried to have sex with him."

"Yeah, that could be worst." Vince stopped walking and gave Skylar a look. "First, Murphy and now Bellamy. Should I keep Jasper or Monty away from you?" Skylar pushed Vince while he laughed. "Hey, if you ever want stress relief I'm always here."

"Oh, ha, ha," Skylar said sarcastically while Vince laughed again. "You're just saying that to piss Bellamy off."

"And it works every time. It's a win-win if you ask me."

Skylar shook her head in amusement. Vince told her about the Grounder escaping and Bellarke bringing guns to the camp to defend themselves. Skylar was happy that they have something to use in case they try attacking them, but she doesn't feel like that Grounder would bring his friends, especially the way he acts around Octavia.

"My friends," they heard Jaha on the TV. "This is a historic Unity Day. Every year, we mark the moment our ancestors of the 12 stations joined to form the Ark, but this is the last time we do so while aboard her. Next year...on the ground." The adults behind him started to clap.

Miller scoffed. "Right. After we did all the work," he said. "Someone shut him up."

"You shut up, Miller. No one's forcing you to watch," Raven said.

"I don't know," Vince began. "Miller does have a point. They send us down here, not knowing if Earth was safe, and since most of us are alive they want to come down here and take away everything that we've built." Vince crossed his arms. "At least give us some credit."

"For 97 years, we have eked out an existence," Jaha continued, "hoping that someday our descendants would return to Earth..."

Skylar sighed as she leaned on Vince's shoulder. "I never liked this day," she groaned. "It's always the same stupid modified story with the stupid dance. Then everyone wants to pretend that everything is all fine and dandy."

Vince shrugged. "I don't know. It's always my favorite day with my dad back at the Ark. It just feels weird not celebrating with him. Even when I was locked up, he would visit me. We shared our special drink before he had to leave."

Skylar hugged him. "Well, your dad is gonna come down in two days. After that...everything is gonna change."

"I sure hope not."

Vince and Skylar sat by the fire drinking Monty's special moonshine in celebration. They were laughing and throwing small rocks at each other until Skylar saw Bellamy talking to Clarke. She couldn't help that small anger bubbling up inside of her.

"I'll be right back," she told Vince as she got up. She grabbed Bellamy's jacket before it could fall from her lap and walked over to them.

"Have some fun while you still can. You deserve it," she heard Bellamy say. Clarke nodded before she noticed the girl.
