"Make your art, be your art"
-

Grayson spent the entire night in the studio finishing up his masterpiece for tomorrow.

He wasn't nervous, he was rather positive and confident that it was even more than good. Art was his thing, his escape. Everybody knew that, even he, knew that.

Endless hours in the studio with nothing but paint, sketches and doodles hanged around the studio. He dedicated his full time for it as he was very passionate with what he did and made sure he wouldn't leave the artwork alone until he made sure to perfect it, emphasizing every single detail.

For Grayson, art was the only thing that truly meant something to him. He considered it a release, sort of as a void filling.

To everyone he appeared as the intimidating mysterious guy that was a bit tad mean when he desired to. Truth is, believe it or not, everyone had a soft side and Grayson was no exception.

You just have to discover their weak spot and dive deep into it which eventually reveals to you a very soft vulnerable person hidden behind this mask. A mask considered as a shield, a wall built that hid countless of endless memories, emotions and sometimes a whole different personality.

She, was his weak spot along side of another female in his life—which was his own mother that he refused to talk about a lot.

However, one minor thing he was oblivious about for tomorrow was Rose's presence. The painting was going to be revealed to her sight and many others as he goes up and displays it along with the raw meaning behind it.

She was not prepared to see this painting tomorrow.

On the other hand, Rose knew about his presence making her a nervous mess. It wasn't because of him mostly, but she was always the type that liked to hid behind bars. She wasn't used to sharing her little pieces except in front of her few classmates that were writers too.

She was accustomed to them, and the fact that they shared the same passion as hers gave her sort of relief that she was being understood .

She was done with writing her little piece but she definitely wasn't ready to present it.

Cara slept over that night, she knew her bestfriend needed the pep talk and reassurance that what she wrote was overly impressing.

And it definitely was, Rose was just too hard on herself sometimes but her writings were always never disappointing.

Her words would leave you speechless, overthinking some situations, reminiscing about certain moments, bringing back to your head the feeling of nostalgia.

Her words would bring you warmth as she was always so relatable with what she wrote making you feel like she just described your inner hidden thoughts.

She had a beautiful mind. Intelligence and beauty, everything you need in a women.

She was just too self conscious sometimes—it's a human thing.

"Think about it, you want to be a successful author one day and what's gonna happen when you do?" Cara paused looking into her friend's worried filled pupils. "You'll publish books, poetry, endless of them for everyone out there to read and get a hold of."

She hoped her words would bring Rose comfort. "Everyone will get a hold of your thoughts— your mind. And they're gonna love every bit of it, you have the skills why not share them and show everyone your potential?"

Rose was more than ecstatic and grateful with Cara's being quick to engulf her tightly showing how thankful she was. Oddly, and for the very first time being present in California, she didn't feel so alone.

Like someone was there for her, supporting her, guiding her through every difficulty and obstacle. Finally approaching her sheets, she already felt less anxious making the task of drifting into peaceful sleep less harder.

Grayson and Rose, an artist and a writer.

If only these two fell in love and got their hearts broken, they would shatter the world with their works. Pouring their misery in, making darkness and heartbreak look and sound artistically beautiful.

Making love sound a lot more painful and complex but an experience to be gone through.

They both definitely weren't ready for tomorrow.
