that saves me and after all,
you're my wonderwall."

love doesn't exist
it was rather something you see in the movies. A cliché type of movie where surprisingly two people fall for each other at the same time.
They fall for a each other, maybe a little too fast. A flame of desires unexpectedly makes it way towards them and next thing you know they're saying "i love you" to one another
love doesn't exist
and again, maybe it does in a novel or a book. The couple hopelessly become head over heels for one another and if it's not realistic enough it'll end in a "happily ever after"
love doesn't exist; for Grayson it didn't
for it was a synonym for hurt, pain, heartbreak. It never meant good things, at least in his mindset it didn't.
Grayson, stood at the balcony of his friend's dorm. A cigarette laid between his fingers as he occasionally took puffs here and there.
He wasn't a smoker, but rather something he did rarely every once in a while and on a lonely Friday night like this, it sounded tempting
Letting his eyes dangle down the streets, he observed couples coming in his view. Some fooling around with beers clanged into their embrace as they took a huge chug before attacking each other in a kiss
Were they in love? Surely, it was hard to distinguish.
Another couple came in sight, reminding him of the lonely Friday night he was spending or rather chose to spend— in his friend's dorm along with art supplies and empty canvases scattered around.
Away from everyone and anyone.
Their laughter floated through his ear drums, it sounded like genuine happiness. Not faked or masked by a thin layer of sadness and exhaustion
He watched them reciprocating affection, exchanging loving gestures from kisses, hugs and smiles. They were in love, it wasn't hard to distinguish
He took yet another puff of the cigarette, letting the smoke fill his lungs somehow bringing him sort of relaxation. He watched everyone in furrowed eyebrows and confused thoughts
He didn't yet understand the concept of love. He tended to call most people couples naive and oblivious. Those couples were fetching for love, looking for it in everyone hoping it would turn to one of their favorite romance movies
