"I said maybe, you're gonna be the one
that saves me and after all,
you're my wonderwall."

He watched her from afar, nothing but exchanged looks and little conversations.

"What are you doing here?" being met with Grayson at my front door, I was taken back at his unexpected company.
I checked the time—2:30 a.m.
He exhaled heavily gliding his tongue nervously in-between his lips. "I wanted to check up on you," his gaze was on full avoidance, not wanting to initiate eye contact.
"You know after the Josh thing..." he scratched the back of his neck awkwardly as it was clear that he was hesitant about every word.
I unconsciously smiled weakly at his state, opening the front door further for him. "Come in."
"Are you sure?" he eyed me with uncertainty before shifting his sight to the time since it was too late.
"Well, you're here so might as well come in?" I chuckled lightly trying to ease the tension that sat in the air.
He came back from the party for me, something in me couldn't stay mad even though I was still hurt but somehow my heart was able to instantly soften and melt in the spot at his arrival.
He stepped further into the house, admiring the interior all around. His eyes wandered across until they got locked with mine and it's like he suddenly got hit with a reminder as to why he was here.
With no hesitation this time, he stepped closer to where I stood—my back hitting the wall. I eyed him with shy eyes as he removed a strand of hair, securing it behind my ear.
He looked in his own trance, full admiration peaking out of his beautiful eyes the more he studied a feature of mine. "Being close to you...feels nice."
His hot breath was hitting my face the more he whispered letting out hesitant words. "But, it's also scary."
He tilted his head to the side, my strand of hair still being twirled around in his fingers. "Why is that?"
We were both whispering like two teen lovers who were afraid to get caught. But the truth is, we simply enjoyed the little peaceful atmosphere surrounding us.
