"Cause I've been dreaming that you love me in the morning. Love me when the morning comes."
-I believe in us; leon—
The sun shone apologetically upon the lovers, peaking over their naked state. With barely the sheets covering them, they became one tangled in each other's embrace as light snores escaped their gaped lips.It was rather something fascinating to Grayson—something unusual. Being close to Rose skin on skin never left him anymore infatuated. He had a hard time falling asleep yesterday, being distracted and unbelievably in trance due to her bare flesh causing friction against his.
They made love last night, a passion shared within two souls trying to ease each other's mind.
Her attempt on comforting him was a success as his sadness and dull face transformed into a glow mixed with sweat. As his quivers and whimpers turned into untamable moans.
"Stop staring you creep," Rose chuckled, still being in a sleep full state as she felt eyes linger on her.
"Oh, so you're awake," Grayson half smiled, taking in the beauty laying next to him. I wouldn't mind waking up like this everyday.
Her eyes fluttered, squinting as they gradually adjusted to the light. Her man's top torso greeted her as he hovered over her.
"So, you were watching me sleep huh?" Her hands roamed his bare chest, sending shivers over his spine.
"As creepy as it may sound, but yes," He nodded with a grin. "Yes, I was."
He couldn't wait any longer, leaning in to seal her lips with his. His hands wandered under the thin covers, exploring each region of hers as their tongues met.
She was like a canvas to him, being a living art piece in front of him. When his hands met the edge of her curve, he put it in mind to thank god later for such lovely creation for he was the artist and he definitely took his time.
"I love you," Rose whispered tenderly once they broke apart. Those three words sat on her tongue fluently—once she realized it, she couldn't stop saying it.
Once again, he was taken back. It wasn't a dream, she really loved him and she meant it. The glow in her eyes spoke honesty—something genuine being muttered out loud.
Happiness floated him, the reminder that he was loved didn't leave his mind. He felt different—more worthy. However, an instant shock of disappointment roamed through. I didn't say it back.
"You don't have to say it back Grayson." As if reading his mind, she unexpectedly remarked. "I love you and I just want you to know that. Nothing more, nothing less."
He looked at her through furrowed eyebrows, still not processing how easy going and gentle she was with this. "Why aren't you mad about this?"
She shrugged adorably, still being dressed in a heartwarming smile. "Because I have faith that this all will change."
"What will?"
"Your mindset," she simply replied. "You claim love doesn't exist, I'll make you believe otherwise."
A sparkle was formed in his eyes. Perhaps that's a good sign?
