Chapter 14

"What?" Natasha ask with disbelief in her eyes.

"How could that happen?" Clint ask.

"Remember after the fight in New York, when we capture Loki, his scepter wasn't with him. So SHIELD try searching for it but wasn't able to. So Nick tell me on the day when I was supposed to talk to the Council about Hannah and he said that the Council was asking for my help to search the scepter and they willing to make a deal with me if I manage to find the scepter." Tony says and it made Hannah frowned.

"What deal did you make?" Hannah ask.

"If I find the scepter, they can't touch you." Tony ask and Hannah eyes was about to water but she manage to keep it cool. No words could describe how happy and thankful she is for Tony's hardwork on making sure she stays.

"But did you find it?" Steve ask worriedly. He doesn't want the Council to take her away too. None of them want that.

"That's the thing." Bruce says nervously looking at Steve.

"I didn't and that is why I went to Bruce for help." Tony says and looking at Bruce signaling him to tell them the bad news.

"I didn't fine it either." Bruce says in a sad voice. "But, we manage to find out who took it." Bruce says while looking at everyone and stops at Hannah.

"Well. Who is it?" Natasha ask and it makes both Tony and Bruce sigh before looking at Hannah.

"What? Me?!" Hannah ask in disbelief.

"No. Its" Tony stops, didn't finish his sentence. He doesn't know how to tell them so he look at Bruce again and Bruce gave him a disbelief look. Bruce sigh and look back at Hannah.

"Its Hydra." As soon as Bruce say that, the whole room went dead silence and all eyes are on Hannah.

Hannah on the other hand, doesn't know how to react to the information that she just receive. Was she scared? Yes she is. Was she worried? Definitely worried. If Hydra has the scepter, no one knows what terrible things they will do with it. Hannah's hand starts to tremble and she tries really hard to control it. She doesn't want anyone to be worried about her. After a few minutes, Hannah then realize that everyone's eyes are on her. She look at all of them, including Steve, slightly longer.

"So. What - what now?" Hannah stutter and it makes Tony sit close to her and hold her hands.

"You okay?" Tony ask. Hannah just nod and smile lightly at him.

"I will not let anyone hurt you Hannah." Steve says and it makes a grin appear on Clint, Natasha and Bruce face. While Tony frowned at Steve. When Steve realize what he just said, he starts to stutter too. "I mean, we - we wouldn't let that happen to you." Steve says correcting himself and he elbow Clint on his rib when he hears his laugh. Steve look at Hannah and she just look at him blankly. He cant tell what Hannah think.

"Okay that's weird." Tony says. "But don't worry Hannah. We will find the scepter and you can excuse yourself from this mission if you want. Is that alright Steve?" Tony ask and Steve nod, afraid to say a word and embarrass himself again.

"I am fine. Don't worry. Let me help you to find it." Hannah can tell that none of them were happy with her answer but none of them argue with her.

"So. Tony and I will search for it again." Everyone nod with what Bruce say.

"And you guys need to get ready. Once we find it, we will went straight to it." Tony says while standing up. "Hannah. Can we talk for a sec?" Tony ask Hannah and walk straight out of the conference room. Hannah just nod and follow Tony from behind.

"You will not participate in this." Tony says as soon as they are both out from the conference room.

"What? Why?"

"No question Hannah. I said no."

"Tony I am not a child. I am an agent. I can do this."

"I know! But it stills a no." Tony raise his voice and it startled her.

"You have no right!"

"Yes I do. I'm your brother!"

"You just met me for a week Tony. A damn week!"

"Exactly. I can't lose you again Hannah! Why can't you just listen to me!" Everyone step out from the room towards them. They were shocked to see both Hannah and Tony are fighting each other with words.

"Is everything okay here?" Steve ask. Tony look at Steve.

"You're the Captain, Steve. Tell her, she can't join this mission." Hannah eyes are now on Steve. Steve sigh and look at Hannah directly at her eyes.

"I think you should listen to your brother Hannah." Steve says softly at her.

"What! No I wont."

"Hannah. Its dangerous." Steve says pleading to Hannah for her to understand why they wont allow her to join the mission.

"Dangerous?! You have no idea what dangerous is Rogers." Hannah says with rage and she didn't even realize that there's a gold glow coming out from her hand. Everything around her starts to shake.

"Hannah. Hey relax." Clint says, approaching her slowly. At that time, Hannah was still too immersed in her anger that she didn't realize that she's losing control of her powers. Clint grab both of her arms and slowly cares them to calm her down.

"Hannah. Look at me. Don't look at them. Look at me." Clint says and Hannah eyes do as he says.

"You need to relax. Breath Hannah." Hannah do as Clint says and when she realize what she has done, there's sadness in her eyes. Sadness and terrified. It breaks their heart to see her like that.

"I'm sorry. I should go." Hannah walk a few steps and then she was gone in thin air. Everyone else are surprised with what just happened in front of them except for Clint and Natasha.

"Will you both tell me, what just happen?" Tony ask Natasha and Clint.

"She was about to lose control of her power and that just now was her teleporting and I think she's in her room. Let her be, she need time to calm down." Natasha says.

"How powerful is she?" Steve ask.

"Very powerful." Natasha answer with Clint nodding beside Tony.

"What else can she do?" Bruce ask.

"Her power are limitless. " Natasha says.

Hannah almost lose control of her powers. And Natasha says her power is limitless. What could she possibly do?
