Chapter 17

The next morning, Steve wake up with a heavy heart. He recall their meeting the other day, as soon as he woke up. He was worried about everything but he was more worried about Hannah and he still is. That is why, last night, he wait up until Hannah and Tony finish their family dinner and make sure she went to her room safely.

He know that nothing could have happen to Hannah while she's here in the tower but he's still worried that something might have happen to her. He cant seems to fall asleep last night worrying about her and that is why he ask Jarvis to inform him immediately if there's something wrong with Hannah. Steve rub his face and sigh walking towards his bathroom to take a shower and start his day.

Steve was greeted with the smell of pancake when he open his bedroom door. It smells really nice and delicious, so Steve doubt that its not Natasha who makes them. Steve stop walking when he saw Hannah was the one who make them. He leans himself towards a wall beside him while keeping his eyes on her. He smiles when she smiles and he frowns when she frowns. He has been looking at her for almost thirty minutes but was disturb by the noise that Clint make.

"Pancakes!" Clint scream while running from his room followed by Natasha and Bruce.

"Morning Clint." Hannah says giggling at Clint's reaction.

"Please tell me you made some for me?" Clint ask with pleading eyes and it makes Hannah giggle again.

"And for me too." Natasha says walking to sit next to Clint.

"I made them for everyone. That's include you Cap." Hannah says looking at Steve when she says his name but not for long, she then look at Bruce. Steve was a bit disappointed as he was hoping to look at Hannah's eyes a bit longer.

"Consider it as my apologies for yesterday." Hannah says with sadness in her voice. This make Steve walk towards her and stand really close to her.

"Clint and Nat are already used to it, but you three wasn't. I sort of having troubles in controlling my powers when I am angry and yesterday was one of the episode. I am sorry." Hannah says looking at her pancakes.

"Its okay Hannah. You don't have to worry." Steve says holding Hannah's shoulder but Hannah nudge it nicely. However, it still makes Steve feel sad and Clint, Natasha and Bruce notice that.

"Well, at least you didn't turn green when you're mad." Bruce laugh and he starts to laugh awkwardly when everyone wasn't laughing with him. But Hannah giggle at Bruce knowing that Bruce was just being nice but in a Bruce way.

"Your pancakes will be ready in 5. Meanwhile, can you guys set the table up. Tony and Pepper will be joining us as soon as they get back from their run." Everyone starts helping setting up the table. Steve leave Hannah's side with a sigh and walk towards the table to put down two jugs of orange juice on the table.

"You know Steve. Take it from a guy who have been hiding for too long, you should talk to her instead of just hiding and waiting." Bruce says before walking towards Hannah grabbing a plate full of hot pancakes.

Steve wasn't able to enjoy his pancakes. It is delicious and fluffy, but he just keep thinking about Hannah. His eyes are only on Hannah. He knows that it makes her uncomfortable, but he doesn't care. He just want to look at her but then, Clint has to ruin it again.

"Steve. Are you listening?" Clint ask.

"Yeah. Sorry. What?" Clint smirk at Steve knowing well that Steve has been staring at Hannah.

"How should we tell Thor about the scepter?" Bruce ask.

"Oh that. I don't know. They probably don't have a phone there." Steve says.

"I know how." Hannah says and everyone was staring at her in confusion, except for Steve. Steve just look at her the way he has been looking at her the whole time.

"And how is that?" Bruce ask.

"By talking to Heimdall. He will be able to hear me if I call his name." Hannah says and it makes Tony frown.

"Should I be worried?" Tony ask Hannah, still frowning at her.

"No. You don't. I can do it now if you want." Hannah says while looking at each of their faces and her eyes stays on Steve. "What do you say Cap?" Hannah ask Steve and it made Steve flustered for a few seconds. It was the first time Hannah has say anything to him after what happen in New York.

"Yeah. Do it." Steve says still looking at her.

"Okay. Meet me on the rooftop." Hannah says and disappear in thin air. All of them walking towards the elevator to go to the rooftop where Hannah was waiting.

"Just stay silent okay. I need to concentrate." Everyone nod. Hannah stood there a few steps away from them. She raise both of her hand in the midair but not to high, just above her waist. She tries to concentrate on her powers and opens her mind and eyes to see things far beyond. As soon as she was able to do that, she opens her eyes and her eyes colour change from black to gold and there's a strong wind around her.

"Heimdall. Valiant watcher of the realms. I know you have been watching over me. Please help me."

"What help would you require from me child?" Heimdall ask and of course only Hannah can hear his voice.

"I have a message for Thor." Hannah answer feeling relieved that it work.

"What could it be?" Heimdall says with softness in his voice that helps Hannah to feel calm and relax.

"Its about Loki scepter. It has fallen on Hydra's hand. We need his assistant in getting it back." Hannah says and she can see Heimdall face from where she was standing. Heimdall doesn't look happy with the news.

"I will tell him immediately." Heimdall answers instantly. "Hannah. You should not be using too much of your powers. You can stop now. I will inform Thor immediately." Heimdall says again and Hannah nod before she closes her eyes. The wind stop and her eyes colour are back to normal. She turn around facing everyone else and smiles.

"Heimdall will inform Thor immediately. Thor will be here as soon as he hears the news."

Hannah can talk to Heimdall like they are doing face time? Does Hannah will be able to travel through realms? Will Steve make the move on Hannah? Or will he just wait and stay in the shadow?
