Chapter 34

The next day, Hannah woke up with a burden on her shoulder. She will have to attend a committee hearing today. She doesn't regret her decision in exposing everything about SHIELD and HYDRA but she was just worried about all the possibilities that might happen if today's hearing gone wrong. After Hannah has finished her shower, she get dressed.

She decide to wear a formal dark blue dress that comes with a matching coat and she match it with a black heel. As for her hair, she just decide to let it go instead of a pony and she put a very light makeup. Hannah check herself for the last time in the mirror before she went out. Its only 9 am and the hearing will be at 11 am. She still has 2 hours before the hearing so she might stop somewhere to get something to eat.

But, she change her mind immediately when she see Steve in the kitchen with an apron on and she can tell what is he making. It must have been bacon with eggs. Hannah frown her forehead with a smile on her face when she sees that he's struggling. She walk slowly towards him with sweet smile on her face.

"I didn't know you can cook?" Hannah says standing beside him and she chuckles seeing how the egg looks like.

"Hey I try. It burn by itself." Steve answer and Hannah laugh with his answer.

"Yeah sure it did. Here let me." Hannah says trying to take over but Steve stop her.

"Don't. I want to do this for you since you wont allow me to go with you." Steve say with a pout on his face.

"Oh no mister. Don't pout at me. You know what will happen if you go." Hannah says holding his cheeks to comfort him from his worries. Steve sigh before he kisses her palm.

"Now, let me take over. I don't want to have a stomachache during the hearing." Hannah says before letting out another chuckle. Steve laugh with her while grabbing a few eggs from the fridge and hand it to her.

"Thank you." Hannah says with a cute voice and it makes Steve smiles at her adorableness. He then watch Hannah mix the egg with salt, milk and a few herbs. He then stand behind her and hug her waist from behind and kiss the back of her head. Hannah feel calm and relax with his touch. All of her worries are gone and she was hoping for the time to stop but if she stop the time, then everything around her will stop too including Steve.

"I didn't tell Tony yet about us. Have you?" Steve ask.

"No. Me neither. I don't know how to tell him honestly." Hannah says and he can feels her body tense. He rub her arm to calm her down and it works as he feels her body relax again.

"Let me tell him. I'll tell him tomorrow before dinner." Steve says.

"Alone?" Hannah ask.

"Yes alone. Don't worry. If he said no, I will convince him to say yes." Steve says.

"Are you sure. We can go together you know. I want to be there too." Hannah says.

"Are you sure? I can talk to him alone." Steve says.

"We're in this relationship together right, so we will tell him together. Oh and we need Pepper to be there too. She will help us to calm him down." Hannah says and they both chuckle.

"I love you." Steve says before he nuzzle his face on her neck.

"I love you too." Hannah answer with the brightest smile on her face.

"I smell food." Both Hannah and Steve stumble away from each other when they hear Clint's voice. They were lucky that they were quick or they would have been caught.

"Please tell me its what I think it is." Bruce says walking beside Clint with a hoping face.

"What do you think it is?" Hannah ask.
