---Geno's POV----

It took me an hour to get home. It should have taken twenty minutes,  but I was still in an almost state of shock, gripping onto my scarf tightly.

The scarf used to belong to my brother...Papyrus...but he was murdered one day...he was the part of the massacre I was caught up in, the only survivor. As for Papyrus, only his scarf was left. I've kept it ever since.

Sure twenty years of wearing it through all my criminal activities has ripped it and worn it down, but I've always taken so much care with it. And now some fuckers gone and ripped a chunk off of it.

I slowly walked down Oakley road, flinching at anyone that walked past me. I'm pretty sure no one would lunge for me suddenly without reason, but I was on edge, practically shaking.

Stopping in front of the door, I knocked timidly before remembering that Reaper was out and that I had keys.

But then to my surprise, Reaper opened the door. And he did not look happy.

"R-Reaper? You're back already? Is everything okay?"

"No Geno. It isn't." He muttered, pulling me into the house before shutting the door behind us.

"Why? What happened? A-And where are the kids?"

He placed a finger over my 'lips', yelling me to shh. "The kids are upstairs hiding, they came back about ten minutes ago."

"But why are you here?" I hissed as Reaper pulled me along to the living room, making a pit in my non-existent stomach start to form.

"Because-" He dragged me into the living room and froze, going stiff at the sight of two police officers. The same two that confirmed my release, but supposedly without the little one. "-These guys dragged me here from work because of something you've done."

"I-I've done? B-But I haven't done anything!"

Reaper gave me such an untrusting look that I froze. "R-Reaper...I-I haven't..."

The cop I remember as Xcellence clicked his fingers and we both walked over, the pit in my 'stomach' only growing worse by the second.

"Geno." He said, making me jolt slightly. "Where were you an hour ago?"

"I-I went for a walk, seeing as I'm free and all that now."

"You won't be free for much longer once we cover what's just happened."

I blinked, taking a small step back. "What?!"

The other one, Marvul took out a photo and dropped it on the coffee table in front of the sofa.

I tilted my head to the side, frowning. It was a picture of a crime scene. There was a human man splayed out on the floor of an alleyway, blood pooling around him and soaking his clothes.

"And I'm looking at this...why?"

Xcellence gave me a hard look before pulling out something in one of those see-though wallets that stereotypical police use at crime scenes. "This was found clutched in the victims hand."
