Nate:

The plane landed at noon. The weather is good and the sun is hot. Elise walking ahead while I'm at her back handling these luggages. Nakasunod lang ako sakanya. She seems happy.

"Wow ang ganda ng Cebu!" Yeah she's really happy.

she loves to feel the air caressing her soft skin, she looks beautiful with  her off shoulder dress that suits her very much. I love to take some pictures of what I'am witnessing right now. so I carefully dropped the luggage and took some pictures of her.

"What are you doing?" Nakangiti niyang sabi.

"Taking pictures of the most beautiful woman I've ever seen." She loves to pout her lips. Doing that kind of reaction that I really love about her.

"Why are you smiling? Do I look beautiful?" She smiled and said confidently.

"Yes you are." Sabi ko. Nakalayo na kami sa plane at nasa airport na kami. May susundo samin sabi ng lolo.

While we're waiting, I heard a huge voice calling my name.

"Gabriel!" The Mayor's calling me.

"Mr. Elizaldo." May sinabit siyang kwintas na bulaklak sa leeg ko pati narin kay Elise.

"Welcome to Cebu!" He warmly greeted us.

"Thank you Mr. Elizaldo." Elise bowed to him so I also did.

I heard him laughed.

"Nako wag na kayong yumuko. Tara na at naghihintay na ang sasakyan." Sabi niya.

We followed him outside the airport.

"Tara sakay na kayo." Sabi niya.

"Thank you po." Masayang sabi ng asawa ko.

And we went inside the car.

"Welcome po sa Cebu!" The driver greeted us.

"Salamat po." Sagot ng asawa ko. Tumango nalang ako at ngumiti bilang responde sa lalaki.

He started the engine and drove off.

Tahimik lang kami sa loob. Pagod sa biyahe.

"I'm sleepy." Sabi ni Elise.

"Matulog ka muna. Mukhang malayo pa tayo."

She gently rest her head upon my shoulder and closed her eyes.

"Kamusta naman ang Don Clemente?" Tanong ni Mayor.

"He's doing fine." I answered him.

"Sayang naman at hindi siya nakarating. Araw pa naman ng pista ngayon magpapakatay pa naman ako ng apat na baboy." Napalunok ako. Hindi pa ako nakakakita ng kinakatay na baboy. Nakakapanibago sa probinsiya.

"Gaano na kayo katagal? Hindi ko nabalitaan na ang kaisa isang apong babae ng Don ay maagang nag asawa." Sabi niya.

"It's almost 3 and a half years from now."

"Tagal na rin ah. So how is she as your wife?" He keeps asking and asking.

"She's great. A loving and caring wife." Hindi ko maiwasang mapangiti. Tulog siya ngayon sa balikat ko pero wala akong itatago kung sakaling gising ito.

"Maswerte kayo sa isa't isa hijo."

"I'm more lucky to have her." Naipagmayabang ko pa. My wife. My loving Elise. Nakakaloko nga ng ikasal kami. Hindi ko maiwasan na isiping tawagin siyang 'My 13 year old wife'.

"Kailan niyo balak magkaanak?" Nawala ang ngiti sa mga labi ko. Mabuti at tulog ang asawa ko. I don't want to make her upset because of what happened last time.
