HC: Michael has played understudy Heather Chandler in Heathers when the lead got "sick"
"Wait, you're in Heathers?" Michael's mama asked. "Who are you? If you're JD, then your ina (It means "mom" in tagalog. Please correct me if i have anything wrong) and I might have a problem."
"You gotta bone to pick?" Michael joked. "Mama, I swear, that was a joke, I don't mean it-"
"Are you playing Heather Chandler?!?" Ina's accent came out thick. That usually happens when she gets angry, sad, or excited.
"No, but I'm her understudy!" Michael answered. "The girl who plays her is Chloe. But no offense to her, but she's a terrible actor. She never remembers her lines."
"You might have to drop the F bomb on stage! And call Veronica a slut!" Ina pointed out. "And wear drag! HAZEL, HE'S GONNA WEAR DRAG!!" Ina started shaking her wife by the shoulders.
"Babe-stop-Camila!" Mama shouted at Ina. She paused to compose herself. "I'm fine. It's just that...you're gonna be a lead role."
"I know. I'm so excited!!" Michael giggled.

"Wait, you're gonna be working backstage? I'm not gonna see you?" Jeremy asked Michael. Michael shook his head. "Will you still sign my playbill?"
"Of course! I'll give you a backstage tour as well." He checked his watch. "Uh, Jeremy, I gotta go."
"Okay. Break a leg, dude!" Jeremy called after Michael.
Michael ran to the backstage door, and opened it. He walked up the dark stairwell, and signed into the sign-in sheet. He then walked, looking down at the ground. He almost fell back, as someone knocked into him.
"Oh my-I'm so sorry-Michael, are you okay?" The girl asked. Michael nodded, and looked at her face, and recognized her. Chloe Valentine. "Also, I need a huge favor."
"Uh...yea anything." Michael stood up, brushing himself off.
"You're gonna play Heather Chandler tonight. I can't do it," Chloe said.
"Yea, totally, but why?" Michael asked.
"Just...family stuff. Can you please do it?" She asked.
"Yes."
"Thank you! Thank you so much!" She buried Michael in a bone-crushing hug. "Go get into your costume!"
Michael stood in a daze. He was actually gonna play his favorite character! He started to run to his dressing room, and changed into his red blazer.

"C'mon Brooke, we gotta get good seats. So, Christine is playing Heather M. Chloe is Heather Chandler, Alana Beck is Heather Duke, Jenna is Martha. Who else is there?" Jeremy asked.
"Rich plays Ram, and Jake plays Kurt. A guy named Evan Hansen is playing JD. His mom is playing Ms. Fleming. Also Zoe Murphy is Veronica," Brooke looked at her playbill. The lights started to flicker, and a voice came through the theater, telling them not to video the performance and what-not. The lights went out, as a girl stepped center stage, clutching a diary.
"September 1st. 1989. Dear Diary..." Zoe said. A little bit of music played in the background. She began her lines, when a person sat next to Brooke.
"Chloe? What are you doing? You're supposed to be backstage! You're not even in costume!" Brooke whisper-shouted.
"Shh! I feel sick! And I just want to hang out with you," She said.
"Who's playing Heather Chandler?" Jeremy asked. Chloe shrugged.
"You'll see, I guess."
The song continued, as Zoe sang her lines, as iconic characters like Martha, Ram, Kurt came onstage. The actors started to line up stage right, and lift their lunch trays into the air as a magical-sounding music filled the theater. The Three actresses made their way through the line of people, with Heather Chandler at the lead. Jeremy didn't get a glimpse of her face, when she stepped from under the trays, but boy, did he flip out when he saw who played her.
"Is that...?" He murmured. Michael led the two other girls to center stage. "That can't be...no..."
"It is," Chloe replied, leaning over to Jeremy. "I didn't feel well, so i asked him to cover for me."
"No. Way."
The song continued on with Zoe's amazing vocals, and Michael's sassiness.
———-
"DUDE!" Jeremy yelled at Michael.
"Uhh...forgot to tell you?" He smiled nervously. Jeremy ran to him, and wrapped his arms around Michael, squeezing the oxygen out of him. "Jer. Can't breathe."
"Michael Mell, you are an amazing actor. And you look good in drag." Jeremy gestured to his outfit.
"Why, thank you. I had fun onstage. Did I hit that high note in Candy Store?" He asked.
"Yesss! I literally got chills hearing you sing. I had no idea you can sing like that!" Jeremy leaned close to Michael. "How 'bout keeping that outfit for later?" He leaned back, and winked, leaving a blushing Michael.
"Yea S-sure."
"Sometimes I guess there aren't enough rocks."
