I LOVE THIS AU SOOOOO MUCH HELP

Jake and Chloe walked into the restaurant, hand in hand. They had been dating for a few months, but weren't that happy with each other that much.

"I still can't believe that you tried to set Jeremy and-"

"Michael up," Chloe finished Jake's sentence.

"Stop finishing-"

"Every sentence." The two said in unison. Jake huffed.

"Why do you have to be physic? I mean, it's cool sometimes, but it gets annoying fast. Now I know why Dustin Krupp dumped you." Chloe crossed her arms, embarrassed by Jake's loud comment. When the couple had been seated, a blonde waitress came by, and asked them for drinks.

"Anything I can get you two?" The blonde waitress asked. Chloe looked at her name tag, and saw Brooke's name on it. Brooke smiled sweetly.

"She and I will have waters." Jake flipped through the menu. Brooke wrote the order down, and scurried away to get the drinks. A little while later, she returned.

"What would you like to eat?" She asked, grabbing her pen from behind her ear. Chloe watched a lock of blonde hair fall out of her messy bun, and into her face.

"I'll have the cornflakes, and Jake will have the Belgian waffles," Chloe said. Jake threw his hands into the air.

"I can order for myself, you know." He looked through the menu. "Belgian waffles, please." He shot a glare at Chloe.

"Oh, can I get a towel?" Chloe asked when Brooke started to walk away. Brooke nodded, and went into the back. The couple didn't really talk while waiting on their food. Jake was afraid that Chloe would try and finish his sentence every time he opened his mouth. Chloe knew what was coming.

A little while later, Brooke came back with two played of food and a small washrag.

"Here you go!" She set the plates down on the table. Jake looked at Chloe's bowl of cornflakes and scoffed.

"You come to a fancy restaurant and order cornflakes?" Jake asked. Chloe shrugged.

"I come here and order cornflakes when I know I'm about to be dumped."

"About to be dumped? You knew the whole time-"

"I'm physic, Jake. I can see into the future. I literally know how you're going to die."

"Well, spoiler alert! Maybe dating you wasn't the best choice!" Jake angrily cut into his waffle. They ate silently. Chloe slowly felt tears prickle into her eyes. She started to grab her raincoat and pull it on her.

"Jake."

"I don't wanna hear it. I though meeting you would make a difference in my life! And boy, it really did! I now know what true hate is! Chloe Valentine-"

Brooke came by the table, so the two stopped arguing.

"Can we have the-" Jake started.

"Check, please?" Chloe asked.

"For once! Can I ask for the check? It's one word! One word! And what do you do? You interrupt me, like always. Check, check, check, check, check! There! Now can we please have the check?" Jake yelled, as Brooke scurried away. "Why did you have to do that? For once, you could have stopped interrupting me! But nooooo! You decided you say what you need to say whenever you want to!"

"Jake, I-"

And with that, Jake threw his cup of iced water in Chloe's face. Chloe pulled her raincoat over her face right before, so it didn't mess her hair up. Jake huffed.

"You know this was coming? You know what? You're gonna pay for this! Literally! I'm out of here!" Jake stormed out of the building, getting stared at by others. Chloe unzipped her rain jacket, feeling worse than when she had ever been before. Her own physic power had caused her to break almost all her relationships.

Brooke came by the table, reaching for the check, Chloe stopped her.

"I just saw what happened," She said.

"I'm really-"

"Sorry about that. Here, this is on us." Brooke finished her sentence, prying the check out of Chloe's hand.

"Wait. Hold on. You're-"

"Physic. Yep! Totally!"

"Oh my god!" Chloe felt super happy at the moment. "I can't believe it!"

Brooke kissed Chloe on the cheek, leaving the brunette red in the face. Brooke handed Chloe the check back, and Chloe saw her number written on it.

"Woah." Chloe breathed. "Did not see that coming!"
