“Excuse me?” I ask angrily. “I don’t want them to be seeing us up here, alone.” He is an asshole and he knows it. Why did I come up her in the first place? I should have known it was a bad idea from the start.
“You’re an idiot!” I say loudly. “Tess I didn’t mean it like that!” Hunter says but I stand up and start walking to the door. I completely forgot about Jessie and Loki.
“Tessa? What are you doing up here?” Jessie asks but then her eyes move to hunter who is standing a few feet away from me.
“Tessa! Come back here!” he yells but I ignore him. “What did you do this time Hunter?” Loki asks, laughing. Well I am happy our fight is so entertaining to him.
I walk through the door and somehow make it back to me and Jessie’s room. The party is still going strong and the music is even louder than before I went up to the roof.
I lock the door and go lay on my bed without taking my makeup of or changing into comfier clothes. Feelings never make sense all they do is confuse you.
They drive you around for hours just to drop you of right where you started. I will never understand how a guy’s brain work and why they think it is okay to mess with girls feelings. I pretty much cried myself to sleep that night.

“You know I am going to find out anyways.” Jessie is so annoying right now. She has been going on about me and Hunters ‘fight’ last night. “Fine, it isn’t that big of a deal anyways.” I say, rolling my eyes.
“Please, how am I supposed to support you if I don’t know what is going on.” She has a point but I don’t need her support.
We haven’t seen each other for 5 years so why are we acting like we have been friends since kindergarten?
“We were just talking and we heard you and Loki coming, he didn’t want the two of you to see us together, he said it would ruin his reputation.” I say like it is nothing at all but actually it hurt a lot.
“I’m sure he didn’t mean it like that.” Is she really picking his side right now? “I thought you were here to support me?”
Hunter’s POV:
“I really messed up this time mate.” I say to Norman. We have been friends for a long time and I know I can talk to him about anything, he always listens and he would never judge me.
“It can’t be that bad.” It is, trust me. “I told her if anyone saw us together it would ruin my reputation and now she thinks I said she is embarrassing.” I say looking at the floor.
Why didn’t I just keep my mouth shut? “Yeah, girls don’t like that.” Yeah I know that now, thanks Norman.
“What am I going to do Norman?” I ask with my head in my hands. “You really like her don’t you?” His voice is full of pity. “Yeah, she has been here for two days and I’m already a mess.” I say with my head still in my hands.
“Just go talk to her.” Norman simply says. I wish it was that easy. “I don’t think she wanna talk to me.” I admit.
“Just give it a shot and if that doesn’t work get some roses and chocolates. Wow, sometimes I wonder why he is single. Man I am happy sarcasm exists.
“Okay, see you later Norman.” I say while walking out of his room. “Good luck.” He shouts as I close the door.
Thanks, I am going to need that. I would be so happy if she just gives me a chance. I don’t know what I’m going to do if she doesn’t want to see me again.
Tessa’s POV:
Hopefully today is going to be a better day than yesterday. I’m wearing some black shorts and a white tee shirt. My hair is up in a messy bun and I am wearing the tiniest bit of makeup. I’m on my way to class, the one that I missed yesterday so I am kind of nervous.
As I’m walking down the hallway I hear Hunter talking to someone and for some reason my name is part of their conversation.
“So are you and Tessa dating or something?” a guy asks. “No! Where on earth would you get that idea?” Hunter asks with an offended tone. “There are people saying that you two were alone on the roof last night, is that true?”
“Yeah I was up there but she was just there to irritate me. Nothing special.” Hunter says.
Ouch.
So now I’m not embarrassing anymore I’m just an irritation. Um he is the one who invited me to the roof in the first place.
