CHAPTER 28

Hunter's POV:

"You shouldn't have said that tittle girl. Do you think this is a game? Do you think this is a fucking game?" he yells. "Well game over for you." He is fucking sick. He grabs her hair and starts banging her head on the floor."Fuck. Brennen stop! Stop! Your fucking killing her you asshole!" I shout. He hits her head one last time and puts her head down. She isn't moving and she's covered in blood.

 I notice a small piece of metal lying next to me that I can use to unlock the handcuffs. Brennen leaves the room without saying a word. I take the chance to try and unlock these fucking handcuffs. Luckily it doesn't take long. I untie the rope around my feet and crawl over to Tessa.

She is still breathing.

Suddenly I hear police sirens going off outside and moments later Brennen walks back in. I don't even give a shit about what he is going to do. He hurt Tessa so he better hope that I don't kill him. "How the fuck did you get out?" he asks. Without answering I walk to him and start throwing punches.

Taylor's POV:

"Put your hands where I can see them!" Austin yells. There's two guys with their hands in the air and Tessa is laying on the other side of the room, not moving at all. "Someone call an ambulance!" I shout while running towards her. She is barely breathing and covered in blood. What the hell did they do to her?

"Tessa please wake up." I whisper while shaking her but nothing happens. "Tessa!" I say a little louder but it feels like I'm talking to the walls. "Come on Tessa! Wake up!" I shake her. "Baby please wake up." Someone falls down next to me. He is one of the guys that were also in the room when we got here. He starts shaking her violently.

"Get away from her!" I shout at him. I hear ambulance sirens come from outside.Finally."Excuse me but who the fuck do you think you are?" I don't give a damn about him; all I care about right now is Tessa's safety. I ignore the guy and pick Tessa up into my arms.I basically run outside to the ambulance that just arrived here.

 "Quick you need to stop the bleeding. She already lost a lot of blood." I say to the paramedic. I put her down on the little bed inside of the ambulance then I step outside so that the paramedics can do their work. "We need to take her to the hospital." The paramedic says to me. "I'll go with her!" Me and the guy from earlier says simultaneously. Where the hell did he come from? "Both of you get in!" He says in a hurry.

We both get in and sit down next to each other. It's not like we have a choice of where to sit because the ambulance is not very big and the bed and medical equipment are taking up a lot of space.Tessa now has an oxygen mask on and I can see that she is breathing a little better than before but she is still not stable.

 The heart beat monitor is making me anxious because every now and then the line goes flat but then it starts picking up again."How do you know Tessa?" I ask without making eye contact. "I'm her boyfriend."

"Oh."

She has a boyfriend?

 I just assumed that she was single because she used to have very high standards but I now see that that has changed."How about you?" He questions."We used to be best friends." I reply but he says nothing."How long have the two of you known each other?" I ask."A few days."

A few days? And they are dating?

"You have known each other for just a few days and the two of you are already dating?" I ask with a raised eyebrow."So, it's none of your business anyway." He says rudely. This boy is a total asshole. It didn't take long for us to arrive at the hospital. At the entrance they told us that we can't go in with her so I went to the café, I don't know where that other kid went.

Hunter's POV:

At the entrance they told us that we can't go in with Tessa so I went to the waiting area. If something happens to her I would never be able to live with myself. This didn't have to happen to her. "I'm so, so sorry Tessa." I say putting my head in my hands.
