Black is the new pink.

I wore a spaghetti strap black bodycon dress with square neckline and sexy side slit. Matching it with a nude heels and nude double flap Chanel bag. While I let my long hair down.

Kung mag-aayos pa ako ng buhok at magmimake-up ay siguradong aabutin ako ng siyam siyam.

Nagsuot na rin ako ng bracelet at necklace to not look plain and dull.

It's already pass 12 noon at paalis palang ako ng condo. 'Ni hindi ko man lang naisipang bilisan. I'm not in the spirit of having this date.

My phone kept on ringing while I'm driving, at nakakuha lang ako ng pagkakataon na sagutin iyon ng matigil ako sa stoplight.

"Hello?" Tamad kong sagot.

"Where are you? Isang oras na 'don yung ka-date mo, Serene. Huwag mo naman akong pahiyain o." Si Mayin na boses frustrated na.

Alam naman niya na may event ako kagabi tapos magseset pa siya ng date ng ganitong oras. Dapat nga ay ako ang nagrereklamo sakanya.

Kung hindi ko lang talaga mahal ang mga kaibigan ko ay dinitch ko na ang lalaking ito at ang iba pang ipapakilala nila sa akin.

"I'm almost there, Mayin." My voice is relaxed and very calm.

At this rate of my driving ay baka bukas makarating na ako sa restaurant.

Malay mo mainip 'yon tapos umalis nalang. E 'di ang swerte ko dahil nakaiwas ako sa kalokohan ng mga kaibigan ko.

"Okay. I'll tell him you're near. And oh, I sent you details. Good luck! Love you."

Binagalan ko pa ng kaunti ang pagmamaneho ko papunta sa restaurant at pagka-park ko ay binasa ko ang message niya.

'Tell the hostess you're with Luke Fortuna. He is a pilot by the way and he's 27.'

Napataas ang kilay ko. A pilot? So, he will always be away. I hate long distance relationship. I don't think it will work for me. I didn't think of having anything with any of these guys anyway.

Bumaba ako ng kotse at pumasok sa restaurant.

Agad naman na may sumalubong at bumati sa akin.

"I'm here with Mr. Fortuna."

She smiled and looked at the paper on her clipboard.

"Mr. Luke Fortuna?" She asked, confirming.

"Yes." I answered and nodded my head.

"Right this way Ma'am." She said and guides me from where the Luke guy is.

I'm not feeling nervous meeting this Luke Fortuna. I know how to socialize, and it's my expertise. Kahit pa sino o ano ang estado niya dito sa Pilipinas ay hindi ako matitinag.

I am going to be nice as long as he will not boast and hit on me aggressively. It's a no-no for me. I hate guys who is aggressive.

Tumayo ang lalaki ng makita niyang papalapit ako sakanya.

I scanned him at once and our eyes are just on the same level. So, assume his 6'2 tall because I'm 5'8 and I'm wearing a 4 inches heels.

He has a short black hair, athletic body with long limbs and straight posture.

Of course, his fashion will not escape my eyes. He is wearing a light brown sweater over a well-pressed collar shirt, dark chinos, and boat shoes.

Not bad for a first date. I see he has a good fashion sense.

"Hi. I'm Luke Fortuna. Mayin's friend." Pakilala niya sabay abot ng kanyang kamay.
