━━━━━ ELLIE SAT IN the back of Edward's car as he drove her and Bella to the Cullen's home. She looked out the window like she normally did. Edward turned onto a road and continued to drive down it. Slowly the car started to come to a stop, looking at the house she had been shocked by the beauty of the structure.
"You live here?" Ellie asked as she climbed out after Bella, Edward nodded his head.
The three of them walked up to the front door. Soon after the three entered the house, Ellie ignored their conversation as she looked around at the house. They came to a stop, on the steps, Ellie watching as Edward looked back at them.
"This is the one place we don't have to hide." Edward said. "I told them not to do this. I even told Carlisle." Edward added.
He turned around and led the two up the steps as the music continued to play in the background. Jeremy followed behind his wife as Esme walked over to the steps as Edward, Bella and Ellie came to a stop.
"Bella, Ellie, we're making Italiano for you." Esme said coming to a stop in front of the three.
Ellie smiled slightly looking around at the room of vampires, Carlisle and Edward being the only two she really knew.
"Bella, Ellie, this is Esme, and that is her husband Jamie." Edward said, introducing the two.
Ellie smiled at the two wanting to walk over to Carlisle but not sure if she should. A figure behind Esme and Jamie held up a knife waving at both the girls.
"You've given us an excuse to use the kitchen for the first time." Carlisle said, placing the meat in the pan as he waved at Ellie who only smiled in return.
"I hope you're hungry." Esme said.
"Yeah, absolutely." Bella responded.
"She already ate, and I'm pretty sure Ellie did too." Edward told them.
Rosalie got angry, breaking the glass causing it to fall to the ground. She stepped on it, heading up the steps.
"Perfect." She said angrily looking at the two girls as Emmett walked up behind her.
"Yeah, it's just I know that you guys don't eat..." Bella explained herself as Carlisle made his way around the kitchen standing next to Jamie.
"Of course, it's very considerate of you." Esme responded.
Carlisle took the chance and moved up the steps walking over to Ellie, who smiled. Jamie watched as the two interacted with each other. He was more than excited that Carlisle had finally found the person he had been looking for, for decades.
"Just ignore Rosalie. I do." Edward told Bella looking over at her.
"Yeah. Let's just keep pretending like this isn't dangerous for all of us." Rosalie said as Emmett hit her shoulder, Ellie looked over at Bella.
"I would never tell anybody anything." Bella said, looking at them.
"Neither would I." Ellie said quietly, playing with her fingers hoping her anxiety would go away.
"She knows that." Jamie said, rubbing Esme's arm.
"Yeah, well, the problem is, you two have gone public now, so..." Emmett said, looking between Bella and Edward.
"Emmett." Esme spoke to him.
"No, they should know. The entire family will be implicated if this ends badly." Rosalie said moving away from Emmett.
"Badly, as in... we would become the meal." Bella said looking over at Ellie, which had in return caused the group to laugh.
"Hi, Bella. Hi, Ellie." She said jumping into the house and walking over to them. "I'm Alice." She added walking over to Bella and hugging her. "You do smell good." She said moving over to Ellie and hugging her as well.
"Alice, what are you..." Edward tried to ask though he wasn't sure.
"It's okay. Bella and I are going to be great friends, along with Ellie and I." Alice replied as silence filled the room. The brunette looked at the vampire behind Alice, then looked over at Carlisle.
"Sorry, Jasper's our newest vegetarian. It's a little difficult for him." Carlisle explained looking at Ellie as Alice looked back at Jasper.
"It's a pleasure to meet you." Jasper said, looking between the two.
"It's okay, Jasper. You won't hurt them." Alice told him.
"All right, I'm gonna take you on a tour of the rest of the house." Edward said, looking at Bella. Ellie looked at Carlisle who in response knew exactly where she wanted to go.
"Come on, follow me." Carlisle spoke, grasping Ellie's hand, pulling her outside.
"Clean this up." Esme told Rosalie as her and Jamie walked away from them.
"Carlisle seems like he found his mate." Jamie said as they came upon the living room.
"Yes, he does. I like her, and truly think she is supposed to be a part of this family." Esme replied as they sat down on the couch.
"So, Alice the one with Jasper. She's the one who saw me coming, correct?" Ellie asked as she turned to face Carlisle.
"Yes, she is." Carlisle replied, looking at her.
"I like her, and Esme. And, it's pretty here and very quiet." Ellie said as she walked closer to wrap her arms around Carlisle, he smiled pulling her closer to him.
"I could get used to this." Carlisle stated, causing Ellie to place a bright smile on her face.
