━━━━━ ELLIE SAT NEXT to Charlie as Jessica Stanley, one of Bella's friends stood up at the front of the stage ready to give the graduating speech.
"When we were five, they asked us what we wanted to be when we grew up. Our answers were things like astronaut, president, or, in my case, a princess. When we were 10, they asked again. We answered rock star, cowboy, or, in my case, a gold medalist. But now that we've grown up they want a serious answer. Well, how about this? Who the hell knows?" Jessica spoke as the crowd cheered her on.
"This isn't the time to make hard-and-fast decisions. This is the time to make mistakes. Take the wrong train and get stuck somewhere. Fall in love a lot."
Ellie looked over at Carlisle thinking of how lucky she was to love him. She knew at that moment that she was set on spending the rest of time with him, whether it was for a few years or eternity, all she knew was that she wanted to be with him forever.
"Major in philosophy, because there's no way to make a career out of that." Jessica continued on. "Change your mind and change it again, because nothings permanent. So make as many mistakes as you can. That way, someday, when they ask what we want to be, we won't have to guess. We'll know."
The crowd cheered as they began clapping. After Jessica had finished her speech they started calling student's names one by one. The clapping and cheering continued to erupt through the gymnasium as each student walked across the stage. After what seemed like forever Bella's name was finally called.
She walked across the stage, both Charlie and Ellie stood up clapping and cheering for her as she received her diploma. A big smile fell onto Ellie's face as she watched the brunette look at her and Charlie smiling back at them.
After everyone had received their diploma Charlie and Ellie met up with Bella, giving her a hug and congratulating her. Eventually the Cullen's made their way over to them, they took a picture of the three. Then pictures were taken of both Bella and Edward, as well as their other friends.

After the graduation ceremony everyone headed back to their houses to get ready and then proceeded to travel to the Cullen's house for a graduation party. Ellie stood next to Carlisle as music played throughout the house, and the now graduated high school students danced.
Truth be told she just wanted it to be over so she could go to sleep, with Carlisle next to her. She moved closer to him resting her head on his shoulder. She watched the people move around to the beat of the music.
However, that changed when Bella gathered everyone up, pulling them all into a room where they could talk. Ellie stood next to Bella as Alice explained her vision.
"They'll be here in four days." Alice spoke looking around at the group. Carlisle stopped pacing around and moved to lean against the table.
"This could turn into a bloodbath." Carlisle mentioned.
"Who's behind it?" Edward asked Alice, looking over at her.
"I didn't see anyone I recognized. Maybe one." Alice replied, as Jasper looked at her.
"I know his face. He's local. Riley Biers. He didn't start this." Edward said, informing the group.
"Whoever did is staying out of the action."
"They must be playing with the blind spots in your vision." Carlisle said, trying to piece it together.
"Either way, the army is coming and there aren't enough of us to protect the town." Jasper explained.
He looked over at Carlisle, while Ellie placed her eyes on him moving her hand towards his grasping it in hers, showing her comfort.
"Hold up. What damn army?" Jacob asked, confused about the whole thing.
"Newborns. Our kind." Carlisle informed him.
"What are they after?" Embry asked, looking at the vampire.
"They were passing around Bella's scent, along with Ellie's. A red blouse and a black t-shirt." Alice told them as Bella and Ellie looked over at her.
"They're after Bella, and El? What the hell does this mean?" Jacob asked, looking over at Carlisle.
"It means an ugly fight. With lives lost." Carlisle replied. Ellie watched as Jacob turned to look at Embry and Quil.
"All right. We're in." Jacob said looking back at the clan, as well as the humans that now seemed to be the center of attention.
"No. You'd get yourselves killed. No way." Bella spoke looking at her friend.
"I wasn't asking for permission." Jacob told her.
"Edward? "Bella questioned, hoping he could convince Jacob to change his mind.
"It means more protection for you, and El." Edward replied, turning his head to look between Bella and Ellie.
"Jacob, do you believe Sam would agree to an understanding? "Carlisle asked him.
"As long as we get to kill some vampires." Jacob replied, looking over at Jasper.
"Jasper?" Carlisle questioned him.
"They'll give us the numbers. Newborns won't know they even exist. That'll give us an edge." Jasper replied.
"We'll need to coordinate." Carlisle said, letting go of Ellie's hand and standing up.
"Carlisle, they're gonna get hurt." Bella said standing up as well.
"We'll all need some training. Fighting newborns requires knowledge that Jasper has. You're welcome to join us." Carlisle spoke looking at the three wolves.
"All right. Name the time and the place." Jacob moved forward, eyes still on Carlisle.
"Jake, you don't know what you're getting yourself into."
"Bella, this is what we do. You should be happy. Look at us, working together. You are the one who wanted us to get along. Remember?"
