━━━━━ ELLIE AND MAX had arrived home before Bella and Jacob. Max pulled his car to a stop, he then turned it off. Seconds later he was facing Ellie, his eyes on her.
"Would you like me to come in or can you handle it?" Max asked, causing her to laugh slightly.
"I can handle it myself, but I'd like it very much if you stayed. I don't want to be alone." Ellie announced, staring down at her hands.
"Yeah, I can stay with you, until you want me to leave." Max climbed out of his car heading to the other side.
Ellie opened the door and had been receiving help from Max. He followed behind her after closing the passenger door. Ellie walked up the steps, pulling her key out she unlocked the door and walked in, Max still following behind her. Closing the door she turned back to face Max.
"Can you let Astrid know that I'm okay and I'll explain everything to her after I've gotten some sleep?" Ellie questioned, staring at her friend.
"Yeah, I'll give her a call. Can I use the phone?" Max questioned in return.
Ellie smiled, nodding her head in response. "I'm gonna go take a shower. You can wait wherever you'd like." Ellie said, walking over to her room.
Max nodded, soon heading to the kitchen where the phone rested on the wall. Ellie moved into her room grabbing warmer clothes than before, once finished she exited out of her room heading up towards the bathroom to take a shower.
After she had finished in the shower, she climbed out wrapping the towel around her to dry her body off. Once in her clothes, she exited out of the bathroom heading down the steps.
"I'll be a few more minutes, I have to take care of something." Ellie informed Max who nodded in response.
She turned away from him heading into her room, closing the door behind her she grabbed the small phone and dialed Carlisle's number. After a few seconds of ringing his voicemail picked up.
"Hey, Carlisle. Alice, probably told you what happened. I just wanted to clear everything up and let you know that I'm okay, I'm alive. I don't even know why I did that in the first place." Ellie spoke heading over to her bed.
"There's something else I wanted to tell you but I can't tell you over the phone. Anyway, I miss you and would really like it if you came back to Forks, I can't stand not being without you. I miss everything about you. I miss your touch. Bye, Carlisle." Ellie ended the call, heading over to the door she opened it.
"Max." She called out, within a matter of seconds he was there standing in front of her. "Can you stay with me until I fall asleep?" Ellie questioned hoping it would be a yes. Max placed a smile on his lips.
"Yeah, of course."
He walked into her room heading over to her bed. Ellie walked back to her bed climbing on it and under the covers. She moved closer to Max who wrapped an arm around her allowing him to keep her warm.
