Chapter 12 ✝

"MOM, MOM, MOM!!!!!!!"

*TAEHYUNG'S POV*

I couldn't reach her, i kept screaming her name, even though she couldn't breath, her eyes glued to the closet where my younger self was hiding. She was trying to protect me, even when she was dying.

She kept begging hyewon to let her breath, the magical mist going to her body, she was turning blue, due to lack of oxygen and then..

She died, right in front of me. I saw my mom begging for air, i saw her being killed, hyewon killed my mom.
She killed my mom.

I cried, looking at my mom just then my vision fell on my younger self, hyewon got me, i was screaming and crying, just then someone came in, from where? I dont know. Who? I dont know. What happened after that? I dont know. Everything went blur.

I felt something wet touching my face, i opened my eyes and saw hye jin, she was sprinkling water on me to wake me up. I got up and pulled her into a tight hug.

She didn't take much time to respond, she hugged me back and consoled me. I kept crying as i buried my face in her neck.

"I c- couldn't save her h-hye jin" i cried, she only rocked my back.
"Shhh, it's alright taehyung, it's okay" her calm voice made me feel much better. But the image of my mom dying was still very clear in my mind.

"We have to find Hye won." i said determined. She pulled away from the hug, her hands move towards my face as she wiped my tears with her thumb.

"Who is she?" she asked ever so gently. I looked into her eyes before telling her everything that i saw.

*Magical time skip✨*

"So you're telling me this woman was looking for you, and killed your mom because she wouldn't let her find you?" i nodded.

"And then at the end someone came in and you don't know what happened then?" i nodded again.

"Damn, i shouldn't have woken you up for another 5 minutes." She said regretting. I looked at her and chuckled.

"See taehyung that woman, hyewon. She couldn't take you clearly because you're still here. So that means whoever came in at the end saved you. Can you think just a little and tell me if the person who came in was male or female?" She asked.

I tried to think harder and harder, when the person came in, there was a very bright light shining so i couldn't see their face. I shook my head again.

"No hye jin. I can't remember."

"It's alright Taehyung, at least you remember a lot of things now." she remarked.

"Dude I'm leaving!" i heard jimin shout from the living room. I got up from my bed and made my way to the living room.

Just as i was about to leave my room i turned around and looked at hye jin. "Don't come out hye jin" i said and she looked at me in confusion.

She raised an eyebrow and was about to ask me why when i said again "If you don't want jimin running again, don't come" she chuckled and nodded.

*HYE JIN'S POV*

I was sitting in taehyung's room and thinking about what all happened today. Everything is so strange.

Just then taehyung came back to the room and sat down on the bed again. "Did jimin leave?" I ask him.

"Yeah he left, Now he'll go to yoongi hyung's café" taehyung informed.

Now there's only taehyung and me here, i think i should leave too.

"I'll take my leave then. I've already wasted a lot of your time." I say as i get up from the bed.

"Don't say that, you've helped me figure out things i couldn't do alone." He said and i smiled.

"I'll drop you Hye jin. You know it's not safe right." he says and i laughed.

"Tae tae i came here alone, i can go alone don't worry, I'll be fine." Just then i realised i called him taetae.
He looked at me, i looked at him. We both paused.

"Are you sure?" he asks not breaking the eye contact. I immediately turn my head and walked towards the door. "Yeah I'm sure, I'll be fine. See you Ta-Taehyung."

I immediately bow a little and leave his house. I made my way to the hotel and stepped inside my room.

It was 1 Pm now and i thought i should read a book to kill the time. I read my favourite book, Alice in the wonderland. It makes me feel i can escape reality and it's okay to be a little crazy.

After a while i felt my eyes getting heavy, i kept the book aside and decided to take a nap.

When i woke up, it was already dark outside. "Damn, how long did i sleep"
I looked over at the clock and it was 5.45 pm now. "Great I've slept all day. Again. "

I was very hungry so i decided to go out and eat something. I dressed up more appropriately and headed out.

I was roaming around, trying to decide where to eat when i saw a pamphlet "A fair?" it was about a fair which was being held not so far away from where i was currently.

The pamphlet mentioned a lot of food and many other things. Why not have some fun while I'm here. I thought to myself as i started walking to the direction of the fair.

It took me nearly 30 minutes to reach there by walk. Since i was used to walking a lot and had trained a lot while i was in busan it wasn't hard.

I reached the fair and it was so beautiful. The thing i liked the most about this particular exhibition was that instead of using lights, they used fire to light up the entire place.

Like there were big wooden planks and they were lit with fire and stands holding them in place.

Just as i was about to go towards the food section i got a call.

"Hello?"
