Chapter 16✝

"This is going to be tiring." we both said in unison.

*HYE JIN'S POV*

"Hye jin? Are you up?" i heard taehyung calling my name from outside the door.

"Uhm, yeah" i said rubbing my eyes.

I slept at taehyung's apartment last night, i was not in a condition to go back home so he let me stay in his room while he slept on the couch outside.

"Alright, let's have breakfast." Taehyung said still from outside.

"I'll be there in 5." I said and walked to the bathroom attached in his room.

I suddenly remembered i was badly injured just two nights before. How am i able to walk and why do i feel no pain?

I lifted my shirt up and i see the wound is already almost healed? How?

I ran outside the room and looked for taehyung, he was in the kitchen making something.

"How many days did you say i was unconscious again?" i asked taehyung and he turned around to look at me.

"One day, hye jin. I bought you home that mid night and you woke up next evening. Why?" he asked.

"So, it's only been two days right? Are you sure?" i asked again, taehyung chuckled and nodded.

"But why though? What happened?"

I lifted my shirt up just a little. "Look at this." i said as i showed him my wound.

His eyes widened and he was jungshook. "Wher- ho- wha- how did th-" he was not able to put his thoughts in words.

"Right? How did i heal so fast? Is this related to the magic shit we have? Like did you always heal like this?" i asked still shook taehyung.

"No hye jin no. I never healed this fast, in fact the cut from that night's fight after we left the café is still here, and it still hurts." taehyung said.

"aw yeah, then I'm the special one here." i flipped my hair.

"seriously hye jin. Are you not worried, some crazy shit is happening to you." taehyung said as he saw me smiling.

"Taehyung, everything that has happened to me in the past few days is next level crazy. This ain't nothing." i said as i smiled and walked back in the room.

Honestly i've been surprised so many times in the past few days, i don't even know anymore. Next hour i might come to know I'm immortal. Who knows haha.

I'm weird

I brushed my teeth and put my hair into a pony tail, washed my face and went out again to have breakfast.

Taehyung made some pancakes and we both were eating silently, it wasn't an awkward silence, it was a comfortable one.

"Uh, hey where is jimin? I didn't see him all the time I've been here." i asked taehyung.

"Yoongi hyung and jiminie went on a trip. Yoongi hyung had to meet someone regarding his café and jimin clung onto him and went together. We call that a trip right?" taehyung and i started laughing.

"so where did they both go?" i asked as i took another bite of my food.

Taehyung's face was stuffed with food but he managed to say "jeju"

"Wow lucky them. And here we have to find that sock jin." taehyung started laughing.

"You don't even know him, why do you hate him already?"

"Honestly, i only just wanted to come here, kill you and go back to busan and live my life. And now i have to find this mysterious man. Do you not realise why i hate him already?" taehyung kept laughing.

"You're something else jinnie" he said in between laughs.

"Jeju island. Ah! I wish i could go to an island too!" i sighed.

"Yeah, islands are beautiful you know, even i have never been to an isl-- wait. Hye jin." i gulped down as taehyung suddenly had a very serious look on his face.

"half moon shaped. Where the waters rose once." he repeated chaerin's words.

"Don't tell me. Did you?" i was about to jump in happiness.

Taehyung nodded happily.

"NAMI ISLAND" He shouted and we both jumped in happiness and i hugged him. And again i realised the position we were in and awkwardly pulled away.

"So um. Where is this nami island? I asked as i sat back down on the chair and continued eating.

"Nami island is in chuncheon, gangwon province. It was formed because of the rising waters of north han river and it is a tiny half moon shaped island." taehyung said as if he had done a research on it.

"Wow, you know a lot about it. But you're so dumb that it didn't click you right when you heard the "Half-moon shaped" place. " i said and he dropped his fork.

"Seriously Hye jin. You ungrateful human. Here I'm trying to help us both and you're calling me dumb?" he asked in disbelief.

"Anyways, so when shall we leave from here?" i asked.

"for the island?" he asked.

"No, for our vacation. Of course for the island you dumbass."

" STOP CALLING ME DUMB YOU'RE DUMB. And we can leave today itself hehe." Taehyung said.

The duality tho.

"Alright then, I'll go to my hotel and take some clothes. Who knows how long it'll take for us to find jin."

"Mhmm, I'll come with you." Taehyung said.

Both of us finished eating and cleaned the kitchen. I then wore one of Taehyung's hoodies and left for hotel.

After taking my clothes from the hotel we both went to a nearby café.

"Alright so nami island is 56.7 kms away from here. I think we should go by Car." taehyung said.

I nodded. "My car is getting serviced, the guy said he would return it by 3 PM, we have like 3 hours now. Wanna go back home?" taehyung asked.

"Nah, let's do something fun while we're at it. Is there a mall nearby?" i asked him and he chuckled.

"You're literally surrounded by people who could kill you hye jin. Also there is this mall here and it has a gaming zone there, we should definitely go." Taehyung said, and i laughed way too hard.

One thing is for sure, we're both equally crazy :')
