Chapter 13 ✝

"Hello?"

*HYE JIN'S POV*

It was park chaerin, remember her?

I wonder why is she calling now though? I pick up the phone and talk to her.

"Found him?" chaerin asked, as always, she's very straight forward.

"Um, yeah chaerin but can you please not tell hani about this?" i asked.

"gurl, i got no business with that. I didn't receive my money yet. Calling you for that." chaerin spoke.

"Oh, I'm sorry for the delay chaerin, I'll come to you now, where are you?" i asked intending to give her money.

"I'm out, where are you?"she asked.

"I'm in the exhibition near yongsan-gu. Can you come here? I'll be here for another hour." i said.

"There is an exhibition near yongsan-gu? I never heard of it. Okay I'll see you there in 30." she said and hung up on my face.

"By--" wow.

I decided that I'll not eat now because the money i had with me was only enough to pay chaerin. So i decided to sit down somewhere, go back to hotel after i meet chaerin and eat there.

I pulled my phone out of my pocket and decided to text Hani.

Me: Hey, what's up?

I waited for a while before i got the reply from her.

Hani: Whats up? Are you out of your mind jinnie? I texted you so many times you didn't reply, didn't call me and now you randomly text me 'Whats up'???!!

I was so caught up in figuring out my powers and my family secrets, i couldn't talk to Hani a lot.

Me: Hey, hani. I'm sorry i was so busy finding taehyung, i couldn't text you.

Hani: hmph. So did you find him?

Should i tell her?

Me: yes hani, i found him. And guess things are not the way i assumed them to be.

Hani: wdym?

Hani: wait so are you telling me taehyung didn't kill your mom?

Me: yes hani. He didn't kill my mom.

Hani: Did he tell you that? And you believed him? Are you an idiot? Anyone would tell you that they didnt commit the crime. Did you expect him to admit it?

This is what i was afraid of. Hani would never believe taehyung. She has seen me suffering so much, that she hates taehyung as much as i used to.

Me: Hani, i will explain everything. He proved it. And all this is some deep shit. Our family had a lot of secrets and we're trying to find out what exactly happened.

Hani: okay hye jin. If you say so. But i want you to take care of yourself. Be alert and don't believe someone too much.

Me: thanks hani :')

I keep my phone aside when i hear someone calling my name. It was chaerin. Hani showed me her picture once. She walked towards me.

"You call this an exhibition?" she laughed at me and i couldn't understand why. It was clearly an exhibition. Kids playing around, adults buying stuff, people playing on the rides. So much of colour and happiness.

"Why would you say that chaerin? What is it then?"  i asked clearly not understanding what she meant.

"Are you retarded? This is an empty ground. No one's here hye jin. Were you sitting here alone for like an hour now?" she asked with an amused expression.

"What? Can you not see these kids playing around?" i asked as i looked around and to my surprise the ground was suddenly empty? There was no one here just like chaerin said. An empty abandoned ground was the only thing i could see.

"Oh my god chaerin we have to get out of here" i grabbed her leather jacket and started pulling her with me until a huge tree fell on the entrance of the ground.

"Whats happening?" chaerin asked and i understood what exactly happened. I was fooled. I was hypnotised. They trapped me here.

I quickly pull out my phone and dialled taehyung's number. I have to get out of here, most of all, i have to save chaerin. Taehyung picked up after a minute.

"Hello taehyung, I'm in the ground and they hypnoti----" A very strong force pushed me from behind and i fell down, chaerin fell down with me.

I got up and turned around there was a woman standing there, wearing black and purple clothes. Her entire gown was black with a purple collar. She looked pale and not very much like humans. She had dark eyes, and was wearing purple lipstick OR the colour of her lips was naturally purple.

"Hello, kim hye jin. How have you been? I finally found you and I'm GLAD" She started laughing and her laugh was very creepy.

I knew she was one of the people that are going to be attacking me from now on. Let's do this.

"Well, I'm not very glad to see you, you witch." i said as i dusted off my pants.

The woman walked towards me and started speaking. "I'm giving you a choice kim hye jin. Do you want to come with me or do you want me to take you?"

"Neither of them" i smiled at her and it annoyed her.

"That was not an option. Guess I'll have to take you then." she stated. And suddenly she ran towards me. 

I pushed chaerin away from me as the woman kicked me hard in my ribs. I yelped in pain, i was lying down at the far end of the ground.

I got up and ran towards her, i tried to punch her but she held my fist and turned it around making me cry again. She laughed evilly and started choking me.

I can't die like this. A flashback of what happened in the train the other day. And what happened on the day i found jimin.

May be, just may be i can fight her.
