Chapter 41 ✝

"Jin's in trouble."

*HYE JIN'S POV*

"What do you mean?"

"Hye jin. I called him and i heard muffled voices and someone laughing behind him. He's definitely in trouble and not to mention he was working on finding hyewon."

"You inform Chaerin about it I'll go get my car." i said as i rushed out of the room. I had my car here in busan and it was the perfect time to make use of it.

I was waiting for taehyung in the parking lot and after a few minutes he came down.

"Where is chaerin?" i asked when i saw him alone. I started driving without waiting for him to answer.

"She is working on something important is what she told me. I tracked jin's phone and it's 17 kms away from here." taehyung stated.

"What was he even doing 17 kms away? I keep telling everyone to work together, but no one pays attention to what i say and now chaerin is on some new mission. Can you call her and tell her to be careful?" i asked.

"I already did. When i called her to inform about jin, i told her to be careful and to keep contacting us."

I kept driving silently with taehyung giving directions every now and then. I was very worried, because who knows what happened to jin.

"Hye jin. Don't go there." i heard a voice and i turned around to look but there was no one when i looked at the road again i saw jungkook standing right in front of my car.

I was speeding so i couldn't stop the car immediately so i abruptly turned the steering wheel to save jungkook.

"HYE JIN WATCH OUT!!" Taehyung shouted but it was too late. The car went sliding towards the bridge and i lost all control over it. We were lucky enough that the car stopped before falling off the bridge.

I looked over at taehyung, he was injured but no serious injuries happened. We struggled to come out of the car and eventually made it.

While i hurt my face and shoulder badly, taehyung's knee was injured and was bleeding.

"I'm so sorry taehyung!" i exclaimed.

"No. That's okay but, what happened hye jin?"

"I- i saw someone standing in front of our car and i tried not to hit them and all of this..." i trailed off. I didn't mention jungkook's name because jungkook is trying to help me and taehyung already hates him.

Taehyung hugged me and kissed my forehead. "It's okay, don't cry."

"We are almost here so i guess we can walk." he said holding onto his phone.

"Can you really walk taehyung?" i asked and he nodded.

We started walking and when the tracker went off, we were standing in front of an old garage.

"Shall we go in?" i asked and taehyung nodded.

We slowly made our way inside the garage and there he was, tied up and wounded jin.

"Oh my god jin!!" i ran towards him intending to untie him when taehyung suddenly grabbed my hand and harshly pulled me.

"Taehyung wha--" just then a big chandelier fell down right where i was standing before taehyung grabbed me.

"Be careful hye jin." taehyung said and he slowly went towards jin and untied him.

"Jin are you okay? Who did this to you? What happened?" i asked.

"Yoongi." jin trailed off, he was sweating heavily.

"Yoongi what? Did someone hurt yoongi?" i asked and he shook his head.

He was about to say something when suddenly a screen flashed in front of us and what we saw was beyond our expectations.

He was yoongi? He was on the screen, and he didn't look like someone kidnapped him or something, instead he looked different, he looked evil.

"Hi." He smirked.

"Amazing right? Looking at me like this huh?" he laughed evilly.

Taehyung and i looked at each other not understanding what was happening.

"Let's not beat around the bush and get to the point hmm? I want you both to surrender yourselves to hyewon. As simple as that. Hye jin, taehyung, dont make things more complicating, just go and surrender yourselves to hyewon." yoongi stated and i still didn't understand what was happening.

Why was yoongi talking on behalf of hyewon? He surely didn't look like he was possessed.

"I know y'all have a lot of questions and all those will be answered when you surrender yourself, i really didn't want to do this but you know hani trusts me a lot and would come with me anywhere, anytime i take her right?" he raised and eyebrow and my breath hitched when he mentioned hani.

"And by looking at jin, you must also know what i can do if i get hold of hani, and trust me, i wont hesitate to do it. So now, without wasting time surrender yourself." he said and the screen went black.

"All this time, yoongi was not with us, he was against us." taehyung trailed off.

"He came with us so he could keep an eye on us and to know all our moves, not to be with hani." jin explained.

"Hani. Oh shit." i exclaimed and ran out of the garage with jin and taehyung following.

I pulled my phone out of my pocket and dialled hani's number. "Yoongi must've gone to take hani, we need to inform her, and now we dont even have our car. Shit."

"Don't worry hye jin. We'll do something." taehyung said and started looking for a cab.

We soon got a cab and hani also picked up the call, she told us she was at her own home and she was alone. I informed her not to take any of yoongi's calls and not to let yoongi in her house.

Just after i hanged up on hani, i got a call from chaerin. Oh god i hope she is fine.

"Hello?"

"Hye jin i want you to come to the address i just texted you, it's important so come immediately." chaerin spoke.

"Chaerin not now. I need to go to hani first, i need to protect her." i explained.

"It's about yoongi."
