Chapter 15 ✝

"it indicates that her life is in danger" No! No hye jin!

*TAEHYUNG'S POV*

She was breathing very fast. I held her hand and it seemed like she calmed down a little. I didn't even realise when my tears fell on her hand.

"Please don't leave me hye jin. Not again" i whispered slowly and the pendant was dim now. But it was still shining.

I tried to finish it up as quickly as possible. I grabbed the first aid kit again and tried to stitch her wound. My hands were shaking and it felt like the most difficult thing I've ever done in my life.

"I can't do this" i kept saying it and kept doing it. I have to save her.

It was done finally, i wrapped up the wound and took off her jacket. The pendant was not shining any more and i could finally breath again.

I covered her up with the blanket and waited patiently for her to wake up.

*HYE JIN'S POV*
I opened my eyes after what seemed like an eternity. I tried to get up and there was a sharp stabbing pain in my stomach.

Then i remembered what happened with me. The fight. The fire. The purple lightening. Taehyung. Chaerin.

I saw taehyung sitting on the floor by the edge of the bed. He was sleeping and his face had a very troubled look.

"Taehyung" i spoke very softly so i don't startle him. He immediately lifted his head up and looked at me.

"you're awake. How are you feeling now? Is it hurting a lot? You're fine rig--" he cupped my cheeks and looked at me with fear in his eyes.

"Calm down taehyung. I'm fine." i cut him off so he doesn't worry much. Suddenly i see a tear rolling down his cheek.

"I was scared. Hye jin. I was very scared." he said as another tear rolled down.

"I'm here taehyung. I'm with you." i said as i pulled him into a hug. I felt his tears touch my neck.

"Shh. It's okay." he is still the same. A child from heart. He sniffled and i broke the hug.

"Taehyung. Where is chaerin?" i asked as i remembered what she said to me. How did she know i had powers. How did she know i could control fire and the fire was within me.

"Chaerin who? The girl who was with you?" he asked and i nodded.

"She didn't come with us. She left right after your fight. But who is she hye jin? She seemed to know a lot about us, she knew the things even i didn't know." taehyung had a confused expression. We both shared the same feeling right now. We were both confused.

"Who was she hye jin?" taehyung asked again.

"Taehyung. My best friend hani hired her to find you. I only know a little about her, that she supplies information about people to other people in exchange of money. So i found you through her." i told him honestly.

"But didn't you find me through jimin?" taehyung raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah. But chaerin helped me find the area you live in." he nodded.

"Hye jin. I think she knows a lot about this and she can actually help us in figuring this out. I need you to talk to her" taehyung said. I was lost in thought. What exactly was happening?

"I'll call her." i said as i grabbed my phone and dialled her number.

"Hello?" i had the phone on speaker so taehyung could hear us both.

"Are you feeling better now?" chaerin asked.

"Yeah, I'm.. Alright. Chaerin, you obviously know a lot about taehyung and i, so i need you to tell me what is going on. Why do we have these powers? What is the purpose?" i asked her and the line went silent. She didn't respond.

"Chaerin?"

"Look hye jin. I cannot go over my limits. I have already helped you as much as i could. Now only jin can help you." she said, i looked at taehyung and he gave me a puzzled look.

"Jin? W-who is jin?"

"Kim seok Jin. He is the only person who can help you figure out everything  and answer all these questions. If you wanna go ahead on this journey, you have to find jin first."  her words seemed like puzzles to me.

"Where..... Where can i find this sok jin?" i asked, lost in confusion.

"Seok jin, is his name. And you can find him in a place which is shaped as a half moon, where the waters rose once." Taehyung run his hands through his hair and heaved a sigh. I had a wtf look on my face.
Honestly what the hell?

"Do you think we have time to play games chaerin? Tell us the name of that place." I was losing my temper now, what is she even thinking.

"Hye jin. I understand what you're going through, but i have my own limitations. I did whatever i could do to help you. I can't help you any further." she said and i kind of understood her. Because we're fighting some strange powers, she must've been threatened too.

"Alright, thanks chaerin, and I'm sorry."  i said.

"Once you find jin, jin and i can help you reach where you belong."

"But you said you couldn't help us further?" i asked.

"That is until you find jin."

"O-okay chaerin. I'll contact you soon, one more thing. Does hani know about all this?"

"Hani doesn't know anything hye jin. And it is better if your don't involve her, this is a game of life and death, keep her safe." chaerin warned.

"I shall. Thanks chaerin, bye" i disconnected the call and looked at taehyung.

"So now we have to figure out the place, go find jin, then contact chaerin, then go where we 'belong'!!"
Taehyung said absolutely pissed.

He laid down on floor and sighed loudly.

"This is going to be tiring."  we both said in unison.
