Chapter 36 ✝

"Is this... My end?"  

*HYE JIN'S POV*

Right now, there's only two things i could do. Give up, and let them take me or fight back.

Never in my life i would choose to give up and lose just like that. I will fight, even if it means that my life is on the line, i will fight. 

"Who are you? " i asked to whoever was in control of jin's body right now.

He or do i say she, smiled. And that was the evilest smile i have ever seen. She pushed her head back and took a deep breath.

"Hyewon" she said and i could say i felt a shivers in every inch of my body.

"What do you want?" i asked, my voice cracked and she knew i was afraid of her.

"Your life, taehyung's life, your father's life, and everyone who is helping you, their lives." she said smiling.

"Why are you behind us? What did we ever do to you?" i couldn't hold back anymore.

"You. You were the chosen one. Why not me? What do you have that i don't?  Then why didn't they give me the powers you have? But don't worry, when i kill you, I'll get your powers and I'll heal myself forever. I'll never die, I'll be the most powerful witch to ever exist with yours and taehyung's powers combined."

"There is something you don't realise, do you not understand what taehyung and i could do to you if we combined our powers? You wouldn't even last a minute, hyewon. You're weak, you'll never win."

I could see how her skin colour was changing, she was burning hot in anger and rage.

"Shut up"

"You cant do anything to me hyewon"

"Shut up"

"You're weak, you depend on people like jungkook"

"Shut. up."

"Even now you had to show up in jin's body, you cannot even depend on yourself for a body, that's pathetic"

"SHUT THE FUCK UP!!" She screamed one last time as the a purple ray came out of her nails and dug directly on my neck, to stop my breathing.

Do all witches and wizards have a choking kink?

"There is one thing, you dont know!" i said as she continued to choke me, she stopped suddenly.

I laughed lightly, "You cannot get my powers until i use them, and i haven't used my powers yet, so even if you kill me now, You're going to get nothing out of it."

I made that up, there's nothing like that.

She seemed to be extremely confused. Then she looked at me with dark eyes and kicked my stomach hard. I rolled over and yelped in pain. She kept kicking me.

Until i heard a voice, "You have to hurt jin, if you hurt his physical body, hyewon cant stay in it. There's no other option" i turned around to see no one. There was no one.

But i got the message. I was yelping in pain but i had to do something. I stood up while she continued to try to hit me but i pushed her away with all the strength i had.

She stumbled back a little and in no time i grabbed a vase and threw it at jin's body. The vase broke and pieces of glasses stuck in his skin.

She cried in pain, i hurt jin's body but the pain was caused to hye won. I then hit his face, i bent down and pulled his leg to make him fall.

I stepped on his feet and she shouted even more. And then it worked, i could see jin's body lying there unconscious while the purple mist around him slowly vanished.

I'm afraid I'll have to do the same with jimin, i looked at him and he was lying there unconscious too. That means hyewon only hypnotised him and possessed only jin.

I was coughing blood right now, she hit my stomach so many times that blood started pouring out of my mouth. There was blood on my face, my hands.

Jin was bleeding very badly too. The whole room was covered up in both mine and jin's blood. I had no strength to do anything, i felt myself losing strength, i couldn't stand anymore and then it all went black.

I have to heal jin
I have to heal jin.

Those were the only words i repeated the entire time i was unconscious.

When i gained consciousness again, everyone was back home. Taehyung was sitting near my bed, my clothes were changed, all my wounds were bandaged and i think the process of healing myself was started within me because i didn't feel as much pain.

"Where is jin?" was the first thing i asked taehyung when i opened my eyes.

"Are you alright?" taehyung asked, concerned.

"Yeah, i feel okay. Is jin okay?"

"Jin is still unconscious. He was injured pretty badly." i immediately stood up hearing that.

"Wait what are you doing? You're injured too." taehyung said.

"I need to heal jin, taehyung. I cant leave him like that." i walked towards jin's room. And he was lying on the bed, all the others were in that room too.

"How are you now hye jin?" jimin asked.

"I'm alright. Do you remember anything jimin?" i asked jimin as i made my way towards jin. I needed to make sure our little secret has not been revealed.

"I Don't know what happened after we had out little talk, i suddenly felt a sharp pain in my head and i dont know what happened after that. When i woke up it was past two hours and i saw you and jin lying on the floor covered in blood. I was freaking out, i called chaerin and yoongi. But i didn't seem to remember anything." jimin said.

"Ah i see."

"Who attacked y'all hye jin?" yoongi asked.

"I'm not sure yoongi, someone just hit my head from behind, i dont know." i said. Of course i made it up, i couldn't say hyewon possessed jin and attacked us.

"I think the person who killed your mom is trying to kill you too hye jin. I think they found out you're here to investigate on your mom's murder. We need to do something about it. Shall we go to the police?" hani suggested.

"Hani, do you not remember what happened when they killed my mom. What did police do? They said they would investigate but they just closed the files. This is my fight and i shall do it all by myself." i said. Yes, we told yoongi and jimin about my mom's death.

I signalled chaerin to take them out so i can heal jin, she understood and took them all out to order food. She came right back.

"Did one of hyewon's men came here?" taehyung asked.

"Hyewon herself came here. She possessed jin and jimin. I had to hurt jin so she would leave his body and now i should heal him." i said.

Chaerin gasped on the fact that hyewon was here.

I closed my eyes as i touched jin's wound. I put all my concentration into it in order to heal jin. But instead i felt a sharp stabbing pain in my stomach and i had to open my eyes.

I couldn't understand the reason why my bruised stomach was hurting so much I couldn't stand the pain, and sat down on jin's bed beside him.

"Hye jin what happened." taehyung ran towards me.

"I think because you yourself are injured right now you're not able to heal him. May be you should let your body heal itself first and then try to help jin. And we took him and you to the doctor anyways so dont worry." Chaerin said.

"Is it because I'm injured or did i lose my powers?"
