Chapter 10 ✝

I believed they were witches and wizards.

*HYE JIN'S POV*

I decided to tell everything that happened to me in the past few hours to taehyung, including my dream and the note.

I made my way to taehyung's apartment, i realised my hotel and Tae's apartment weren't very far.

I went over to his floor and knocked twice on his door. Taehyung opened the door, he was wearing his night dress and looked very sleepy as if he just woke up.

I glanced at my phone and it was still 7.30, guess i woke him up pretty early.

"Hye jin? What are you doing here so early? Is everything alright?" He asked as he moved and made way for me to get in the house.

"Not exactly taehyung, but i wanted to talk to you, is jimin home?" I asked as i positioned myself on the couch, Taehyung also sat on the couch opposite from me and rubbed his eyes. He cute--

"Yeah, he is sleeping in his room." he said.

"Oh, so he wont wake up from our conversation right?" i asked making sure that this thing stays between me and taehyung only.

"No he is a deep sleeper, he wont wake up. Is everything alright though hye jin?"

"Um, Taehyung actually, i had a dream. I saw dad and he was trying to tell me something. He was saying something along the lines 'you and taehyung have to' but he couldnt complete and i woke up from my slumber."

I told taehyung everything. His expression stated he was thinking something very deeply. "I told you hye jin, our powers, your mom's death, dad going away, everything is related." Taehyung looked very worried.

"And i think my mom's death is related to this too." taehyung said i and i was too confused.

"why do you think so taehyung?"

"you realise hye jin? The dream came back after we met again, you and i both have powers, some creepy people are behind us and most of all i dont remember how my mom died. I cant help but think this is ALL related." he stressed.

"I think so too taehyung because today when i was on a jog, i felt someone was following me and then i found this note. Here have a look." i handed him the note which i found at the park.

His eyes widened at it. "Hye jin no! I found an exact same note when i figured my powers out and soon after that these alien sorta people started attacking me."

To say i was scared would be an understatement. I was terrified. I didn't even realised i was shaking from fear at this point. Taehyung came over to me and pulled me into his embrace.

"I'm not ready for any of this taehyung. I'm too scared, i can't face them." i said as i started crying and buried my face in his chest.

"Hye jin." he lifted my face up so i could look into his eyes. "Do you trust me?" he asked, i couldn't help but feel safe around him. I nodded.

"Trust me with this hye jin, i will protect you." He said and i hugged him again, soon enough i realised the position we were in and quickly pulled away, my cheeks were red and i was embarrassed.

"Um, do you, do you wanna eat me?"
My head shot up in his direction and i looked at him in pure shock. " I MEANT DO YOU WANNA EAT SOMETHING" He said altogether in one breath and i just nodded immediately and looked away.

Damn this boi is wild--

He quickly made his way to the kitchen and got me a sandwich and orange juice.

"Thanks for the sandwich tae-- wait. Speaking of sandwich, do you think these people who are attacking us are witches and wizards?" i couldnt help but ask this question.

"Do you believe they exist?" tae asked as he looked at me in disbelief.

"Well i didn't believe i could control the air around me and people would turn into mists and disappear in front of my face but it's happening isn't it?"
I argued.

"Um, may be you're right but i have not thought about it this way." he trailed off, thinking something.

"What have you been doing for the past 2 years? All the theories start with me, you only wasted time didn't you?" i teased and this reminded me of our childhood.

"Seriously Hye jin, you didn't change a bit." he said and we both chuckled and suddenly jimin came out of his room.

"Tae i couldn't sleep well, i kept dreaming of the girl who i met yesterday, damn she was ho--" Just then tae went and covered Jimin's mouth.

"I think you didn't realise but we have A GUEST JIMIN" Taehyung said and jimin hesitantly looked at me. I bowed a little and jimin ran off to his room again.

"Um, the sandwich is good, tae." I said awkwardly. I was done eating and was planning to leave just then jimin came out again as if nothing happened a few minutes ago.

"Hey hye jin, you realise hey and hye haha hey hye jin lol" He was making it more awkward, i saw taehyung face palming himself at the corner of my eye.

"Hey.... Jimin...." i said back awkwardly and jimin ran to his room again.

"Why is this boy running so much?" i asked taehyung as i looked at him..

"It's his way of coping with embarrassment, he just straight up runs from the scene." i started laughing at this!

Suddenly Taehyung came closer and held my wrist, i stopped laughing and he looked very serious.

"Hye jin, i have to show you something."
