Chapter 7 ✝

"Finally, Taehyung" he said.

*Hye jin's POV*

"Does he know you?" i asked cause duh, he clearly does. "Listen to me carefully Hye jin. Please go stand in the corner and do not, i repeat DO NOT TRY TO FIGHT THIS GUY no matter what" Taehyung said as he kept looking at the hooded man.

"Really Taehyung? Are you doubting my strength right now?"
"I got no time for this Hye jin, step aside" Taehyung said and pushed me to the side a little.

"Let's do this ansel, weren't you waiting for too long?" Taehyung said to the man. The man removed his hood and he actually looks young.

"I waited a lot Taehyung" He said and both Taehyung and the man i suppose ansel run towards each other. I see a bright purple light shining as they both crash into each other.

The next thing i see is ansel is lying on the ground and taehyung is on the other side. Ansel gets up and runs towards Taehyung again, this time he is going to punch him, Taehyung dunks down and catches ansel's leg and drags him to the ground, he then kicks ansel in the stomach.

Ansel yelps in pain. But he gets back up soon. What i see next left me astonished, ansel's eyes turn purple. Just like the guy in the train. My vision fell on his wrist, he too had the same tattoo, three snakes. He punches Taehyung and knocks him down.

Taehyung's nose is bleeding, ansel runs towards taehyung again, lifts him by his collar and throws him into the wall. "You gotta do something Hye jin." I say to myself, i can't let Tae die, at least not before i know the truth.

Wait what did you think? I cant let tae die because im on his side? Nah, bro. I'll sell him to satan for one corn chip.

Memories from the day in train flash in my eyes, the way i controlled the air, shall i try it again? But before i finish contemplating on it, i hear a loud thud. I see that Taehyung has dropped a couple of big stones on ansel. Taehyung was controlling the stones, the mud and everything on the ground.

"Is this real?" ansel then returns Taehyung's attack by pushing a purple light ray kinda thing towards him, that purple ray literally cut the stones into pieces. Taehyung was losing again. Taehyung would use more elements of earth and ansel would destroy everything Taehyung used both as a shield and as an attack.

I finished contemplating. Yep. I'm doing it, or at least try to do it. I lift my right hand in the air, close my eyes and try to get the storm on my palm like the other day. I use all my strength and try to gather the air.
"There it is" A very small storm formed on my palm and it got bigger and bigger. I push all the air towards ansel and his purple ray couldn't fight the force of air.

Ansel falls down due to the pressure. Taehyung looks at me in astonishment. I flip my hair and mouthed "Told ya" Taehyung gives me a smile and we both walk towards ansel. Ansel got up and formed a purple shield all around him, none of Taehyung's attacks got through the shield but mine were affective.

The air i pushed towards him was making it harder for him to stand on the ground in his shield, suddenly a purple mist formed everywhere and ansel was gone.

"Why do they always vanish when they're losing?" i say out loud enough for Taehyung to hear. "Always? How many times have you had an encounter like this?" Taehyung asks as he brushes the dust off his clothes.

"I had an encounter like this once, while i was in the train to seoul." i said casually. "You just turned eighteen a few days back. Didnt you?" Taehyung asked. "Yeah i did, why?"
"And you also have powers" he said again.

"Wait are these my POWERS? Is controlling air a power, is it going to be with me forever? Do i have more powers? How do i know if i have more powers? Do you also have powers? How many powers do you have? How did you find out your powers? Why do we have these powers? Do we keep gaining powers? How doe--"

"what? Why you makin a face like that?" i asked him cause he's staring at me so blankly.

"Nothing, i think its time to tell you everything." he says. "EVERYTHING?"
"Come on, let's go to my apartment"

We walked back to Taehyung's apartment, he unlocked the door and we both walked in. His apartment is actually very nice, didn't expect two boys to keep their house THIS clean.
I sit down on the couch. "Now tell me." i said.

"Okay so Hye jin, I moved to seoul two years after i left your house. I was 12 when i came here. I came here with the help of the uncle at my orphanage"

"Wait so you stayed at an orphanage and not with dad?" i asked, all this time I've been thinking taehyung and dad were staying together.

"No, the last time i saw dad was with you when he left the house. When i left your house, i had nowhere to go, someone asked me about my parents, on not answering they left me at the orphanage, i wanted to leave busan badly, i dont know why i had weird dreams and in every dream there was this one message in different forms which said 'Leave'. I desperately asked the uncle to let me go to seoul, he agreed and shifted me here in another orphanage." I was listening to him intently

"I found jimin when i was 16, we moved together, jimin's parents live abroad. When i turned eighteen i figured i have some special powers, and not only powers, there were weird people too, and i had to fight them. It took me so long to understand these powers and make use of it. In the past two years, I've had several people who attacked me, but none of them would tell me the reason." 

"How many powers do you have, Taehyung?" i asked.

"I can control the earth and water, Hye jin. I figured out you can control air. I think we both have powers because we both have the blood of dad."

"Are you saying dad had powers too?"

"I dont know hye jin, i really dont. But you know since we have these powers, I believe there's a purpose behind it"
