Chapter 19✝

"Is someone following us?"

*HYE JIN'S POV*

I asked taehyung after noticing the car for a while. It could happen you know, those people could follow us to this island to stop us from finding jin. And i wasn't sure if i could fight them.

Taehyung tried to look behind us through the rear view mirror, but couldn't find anyone so he asked me "Who?"

I turned around but there was no one,
"There was someone taehyung, there was a car continuously behind us, but now it isn't..." i trailed off.

"Guess we're being a little too paranoid." taehyung said and chuckled a little but gave me an assuring everything-is-okay look.

We reached the hotel and i immediately plopped down on the couch, i was just too tired from all the questioning i did today.

In the corner of my eye i could see taehyung chuckling. "Why are you laughing dumbass?" i asked and his smile turned into a why-is-she-like-this expression.

"I'm not dumb, stop calling me that."

"Yeah yeah whatever. Why were you smiling though?"

"Oh i was just thinking about that guy who came up to us and casually said "nice fashion" lol. At least he recognises how handsome i am." Taehyung said.

"He didn't compliment your face, he complimented your clothes, so stop being so full of yourself."

Taehyung rolled his eyes on my comment and sat down in front of me drinking his sprite he just got from the fridge.

I was busy on my phone and he was busy drinking his drink when suddenly he spilled his drink all over the place and looked at me as if he realised something important.

I looked at him annoyed because he spilled his drink just then i saw his expression and realised something too.

We both looked at each other dumbfounded.

5 seconds silence..

10 seconds silence..

15 seconds silence..

And then we both shouted together

"KIM SEOK JIN!!!"

"Oh god taehyung how did we not realise?!"

"He literally had the widest shoulders ever" he said picking up his car keys and running out the door, me following behind him at the same pace.

"He was handsome too and did you realise when you said hye jin, he turned around and asked if we called him. Like how did we not realise then? HIS NAME WAS JIN" I said as we both ran towards our car.

We hastily sat down inside the car and taehyung sped off towards the same restaurant where we saw jin.

"Do you think he'll be there? He literally just left in front of us." taehyung said.

"I dont know tae, may be we can ask the restaurant about him, may be we might get his number or address."

"What time is it?" taehyung asked.

"it's 10.45 tae"

"you think the restaurant isn't closed by now?"

"i dont know let's just see taehyung" i said and we were literally speeding towards the restaurant. This time taehyung didn't even care about the speed limit or anything. We were just GOING.

We reached the restaurant in 10 to 12 minutes and we both immediately came out of the car. And to our dismay, the restaurant was already closed. We both sighed.

"We're both so dumb. Why didn't we realise such an obvious thing at that moment." Taehyung said.

"I'm so sorry taehyung!"

"why are you sorry? Even i was not able to process it so it's not your fault." Taehyung tried to explain.

I just sighed heavily, looking at the fountain in front of us. My eyes were watery and i didn't realise.

"Don't feel so bad, we can find him. At least now we know how he looks hmm?" taehyung asked as we both walked towards the fountain.

"I dont know taehyung. What if we cant find him now? What if this was out last chance? What if---"

"It is not going to be like that hye jin. Now the chances are even more, we know his name, we know how he looks, we know he goes to this restaurant, we know he actually has wide shoulders" Taehyung chuckled and i laughed at it.

"Also we can come here first thing in the morning and ask about jin. I'm sure they will be able to help us." taehyung completed. I wiped my eyes off and smiled, taehyung returning the smile almost immediately.

"shall we go home and rest now? Tomorrow is going to be a long day when we find him and he tells us all about it." Taehyung spoke again and i nodded.

We were about to turn around and leave when we heard someone laughing.

"Are you done with that little drama of yours?" we turned around to look at a man standing there wearing black and purple clothes.

"Not again" i said and i rolled my sleeves up.

"Your hopes, dreams, love, shit, is it over?" he asked again.

"Are you jealous?" taehyung smirked.

"Jealous of you?" The man asked and removed his hood from his face and HOLY SHIT.

He was So freaking hot.

Well i shouldn't be drooling over someone who has come to kill us but how can you resist someone THIS beautiful?

"Are you done admiring me?" the boy asked me and i was shook. Shit. When will you stop embarrassing yourself hye jin?

"Admiring you? Eww." i said defending myself.

"What do you want?" taehyung asked and the boy diverted his attention towards taehyung.

"May be i wanna kill you. May be i want this girl. Who knows. But one thing is for sure, i reaallllyyy wanna break your jaw right now" he said and smirked.

I was shook. He wants me? Wtf?

Taehyung scoffed. "Nothing you wish is going to come true, dont waste your time."

"We'll see about that?" The boy said and his eyes turned purple. He glared at me and smirked. "Enjoy the show babe"

He said as he and taehyung both ran towards each other and started fighting.

With one swift move of his, taehyung was on the ground.

I gasped and the boy turned to face me. "Like what you see?"
