"Are you this busy you won't even look at me?!" I asked him, annoyed.
"You are so busy with that sculpture of a woman that is not even me and you avoided eye contact eversince I came in here. You didn't even ask if how I feel or what really happened. You didn't even tell me you're going to Las Vegas next week. I wouldn't even know if I didn't bump up with Edward's wife this noon. What's happening to you Donatello?!" I really don't understand him. Why can't he tell me such small things, okay— that's a big deal, Vegas. He's leaving me without telling me he'll be away for a day or two. What the effin' hell?!
"Babe I'm so sorry, my client needed this for his—" I cut him off.
"—It's fine. I'm leaving. Take your time in this dungeon with your sculpture for all I care!" I walk towards the door and stopped to say bye. Or rather, pick on his conscience.
"Just give me a ring if ever you realize you still have a girlfriend that needs you. Good bye, Mr. Henderson." I said before heading out of the goddamned door.
I mean, yeah, maybe good nga ang intention niya pero kasi, akin iyon eh.
This past six months have been almost wonderful.
Lagi pa naman kaming nag-uusap over the phone kapag hindi kami magkasama.
I twisted it around my fingers as if I am a majorette.
I bet they don't know what 'Gender Equality' means. Mga meany!
I twisted the rod in my fingers absentmindedly and was almost calming myself when I caught sight of Stefanie, the lesbian.
I didn't know what to do and is afraid she'll givee the creeps again so I just threw the piece of metal somewhere and run to the back of the house. I heard sounds of breaking glass but didn't care. I need to hide.
"Hey girl, I've been waiting for you. What's up?" Marg'reth reached for me and gave me a half hug.
"I'm fine, but I quit my job. Now I'm regretting what I did. I texted you what happened, haven't you read my message?" sabi ko.
"I did. That's why I'm here. Common, let's party. Dress up bitch." hinarap k9 siya at sinimangutan.
"Oh hell, Maxine! Don't give me a long face, get up and we'll have a girl's night out. Now!" she demanded.
"Fine. Give me three hourse. It's still early." I bargained.
"Half an hour, missy. It's six thirty already. Get changed, no need to take a shower, we're going somewher before we go clubbin'."
I rolled my eyes at her then went to my room and get changed into my peach bubble dress. I'll weary maroon coat over it later. I wore my black scarpin heels then I'm ready.
"Where are we going?" I asked Marg'reth.
"To a beauty salon, girlfriend. Do you expect me to go clubbing with my hair tied above my head? tss." maarteng sagot nito habang nagda-drive.
"Let's get pretty then." I smiled weakly as I look outside, to the streets of New York City.
'I miss you already, Donatello.'
