A Little Push [On-Hold]

Chapter Twenty-one

I danced and danced the whole time until my feet was about to fall off.

Ewan ko ba kung bakit ganito ang pakiramdam ko. It's as if I want to be so happy—so gleeful, to the extent that I am already faking it. Well, not totally fakin' it, slight lang naman kase nag-eenjoy naman ako kasama si Marg'reth. Yun nga lang ay kulang... kulang na kulang.  At lagi na lang ganito ang eksena ko tuwing nagka-clubbing kami ni Marg'reth with our friends.

And so I decided to rest since I'm already tired. But as soon as I steady my feet, I wobbled. I might have drank too much for the night.

I gestured to Marg that I'll head back to our table. She just showed me her annoying grin as she was grinding her ass on her dance partner. 'What a lucky dude!.'

I rested for a bit then stood up once more to go attend the ladies room, I need to pee.

As I'm walking towards the ladies room, my eyes did a trick. I think I just saw someone near the bar counter who looks like Donatello, maybe younger, but still, I'm sure that 'he' can't be him...Donatello's way way older than that guy.

"My Doni—pfft.." I whispered as I suppress my giggle.

As I enter one of the cubicle, my mind wander off to him again. My Doni, he must be thirty seven years old now. Old—yes, but not too old. My papa is still older than him, papa Jesse will soon turn forty-seven right before the holidays, while him, Donatello, was two years younger than my mom and is probably thirty seven now.

Doni, a nickname for Donatello... at least, it sounds different.

I went back to our table and from there, I can clearly see some Marg'reth makin' out with another guy. What a freak she is.. tsk tsk.

Some of our friends are back in our table and is playing 'truth or consequence' game. I joined in.

"Let me spin the bottle." I said, pumayag naman ang mga mokong na kaibigan ko.

I spin it and unfortunately, sa akin nakaturo ang bibig ng bote.. naghiyawan ang mga kaibigan ko.

"Truth or consequence?" Lizzie asked with a naughty grin, we have the same class in Calculus.

"Consequence." sagot ko. Wala naman kasi silang ibang itinatanong sa akin lagi kung hindi ang 'When do you plan to lose your virginity?!'.

"Twerk at some random guy. Make sure he isn't gay. No buts, Maxine." si Travis, isang gay na friend ko. He reminds me of Josh, back in Irosa Balmosa. They kinda look alike except he's black american.

"Fine." I said, resigned.

I know they're just making fun of me. Before I walk away from our table, Marg'reth joined us and asked if what's my task is... she looked so thrilled that's  why, to please her, I look around the bar. The music is upbeat and it gives me good vibes.. 'I can do this!'.

My eyes suddenly looked back  at the bar counter and there, I saw him again, the guy who resembles Donatello. hmmm.

I was halfway to him when he stood up and walk towards the dance floor. I made a right turn to meet him there.  He isn't dancing and is just standing there looking back at the bar counter. What's with this guy?

The music went more upbeat and so I started swaying my hips, moving seductively as I turned my back from him. Hindi ko sure kung nagagaya ko ang ginagawa ni Marg'reth kanina sa kasayaw niya, ewan ko kung okay ba ang ginagawa ko or nagmumukha ba akong tanga sa harap ng estrangherong ito. But who cares? This is just a dare.

Until it happened, my butt was now bumping with his crotch, I feel scandalized by what I'm doing right now. But from a distance, I can hear my friends cheering..  'Bitches!'

I lowered my upper body to the ground while still swaying my hips...and just like that, I was shocked when I feel him poking me. I jerked upright and almost fell forward from the sudden movement. He caught both of my shoulders to steady me, but instead, my whole back rested on his hard chest.

I looked sideway to see his face, but he was already leaning towards my left ear, "You're a very naughty girl......Angel."

Time froze.

Everything faded after I heard the man's voice.

'This is the part where I swear to myself, right? '

"Fuck." I murmured. He stared at me.

Hell, yeah! You and your stupid mouth Maxine. tsk.
