I continue reading and try to focus on school when "I want to meet him." Alex says "can you please take us over to see him?!" Rachel begs.
I put my book down, "Sorry, He is flying the day after tomorrow and I want to give him some time... we are all the time together and he needs to get out, to have fun. Be alone. You know? And I don't want him to feel suffocated." I say.
"To where?" Maya walks through the door. To where what? What is she saying? "What are you talking about?" I ask confused.
"You said he is flying tomorrow.. to where?" oh.
"I don't think he told me. he is going back on tour" I say.
"Oh." She sounds disappointed "Ok so, when is he coming back?" Rachel asks. I laugh at her comment. I regret telling them.
"Ok, I promise you will meet him. One day. I promise. just not now. ok? I think you need to grow up a bit and realize that he is just a person. Like me, like your mom..." I smile uncomfortably. "Oh, and By the way tomorrow I'm not going to be around that much and I'm not sure if I'll sleep here either," I say.
"I know we heard," Alex says. "You're going over to Shawn? What about school?" Maya asks.
"It's just one day" I know I need to study, but I want to be with Shawn tomorrow and with my family.. then I can focus on college stuff.
"Ok if you say so" Maya rolls her eyes at me. Why is she acting like that?
I have no idea what time it is, but it's getting dark outside and I'm still studying from the moment I got home today, I felt a bit dizzy earlier so I took an aspirin and I continued to study.
There is a knock on the door and it slightly opens, "Hello? Alex? Rachel? Lili?!" I recognize the voice. it's Jeremy's. I don't look.
"In here?" I say trying to stay focused.
He walks in, "Hi Jeremy," Alex says. he closes the door walking over to us. "I was trying to just say that we are going to watch a movie if you want to come with us. You girls have been studying all day long, you could use a break. it's almost 7" He says.
"Yeah, I'm totally down for a break," Rachel says closing her books. Alex does the same,
"Wait what?" I ask looking at the time. "It's already 7?" How did the time fly by so fast? "Yeah. ok so we're going to the movies If you want to come" he says, waiting for me to respond, when I don't, they just walk out.
"You sure you don't want to come?" Alex says before she walks out. I sigh. "I don't think so... thanks for the offer though"
"Ok, see you in a few," She says walking out taking her car keys with her. Trying to go back and focus.
My phone buzzes like 300 times distracting me. I look at the screen seeing it's Shawn.
