(F/N) leafed through the Yorozuya's schedule. It was largely empty, but they did have a construction job that day. The only problem was—they had to wait for Gintoki.

There wasn't any particular reason, simply that (F/N), Kagura, and Shinpachi didn't want him to get away with ditching work.

Kagura let out a whine. She was sprawled on the couch, chewing her pickled seaweed. Meanwhile, Shinpachi was up vacuuming.

(F/N) sighed, tapped her fingers against the desk a moment, and got to her feet.

"Do you want help with the chores?" She asked Shinpachi, stretching her arms.

The boy smiled at her. "Yes, please. If you could sort through the laundry..."

"Sure thing."

She got to work just as Gintoki crashed through the door.

"Guys, it's a miracle!"

Kagura dropkicked him. "What? Did you finally grow a brain cell? We've been waiting for hours!"

"Hey, hey, don't kick me!" he protested, holding something up. "Look! Tickets for a vacation to Callisto's ski resort!"

Kagura snatched the tickets, examining their authenticity.

"They're real!" she shouted, kicking Gintoki's head. "How did you get these? Did you steal them?"

Gintoki held up his hands. "What? I haven't resorted to thievery—yet. I got them at the pachinko parlor!"

"Really?"

Kagura and Shinpachi cheered. (F/N)'s jaw dropped.

Tickets to Callisto's ski resort? True, I don't like space travel, but that sounds like fun!

Gintoki pushed through Kagura and Shinpachi, and walked right over to (F/N). The serious look in his eyes made her heart race.

"Hey, (F/N)-chan, I have something I need to say to you."

She gulped. "Yes?"

"There are only four tickets, so take care of the apartment while we're gone, kay? I'm only three months behind on the rent."

Only four tickets, but there's—

(F/N) was stunned for a moment, and opened her mouth to shout, only to find they'd already left with Sadaharu, the 'fourth person.'

She stared at the empty air. They left me behind so they could take Sadaharu?

Stunned, she stumbled towards the kitchen.

This is Gintoki-kun's fault! That goddamn Gintoki-kun!

Heart filled with rage, she switched the salt and the sugar.

It was the day after the terrible trio returned with their dog. (F/N) sat on the couch next to Shinpachi, reading a newspaper. Gintoki had just made a parfait, and was about to tuck in. She smirked.

Sweet revenge is mine...or perhaps it's salty revenge in this case...

He took a bite, and his face turned blue.

"Gin-san," Shinpachi said, "are you okay?"

He keeled over.

"Gin-chan!" Kagura shouted, leaping across the living room. "Stay with us!" She shook his shoulders, and he groaned.
