"Run faster, you idiot!"
"I'm not Idiot, I'm Katsura!"
"Oh, who cares? Just run!"
(F/N) flinched as another explosion sounded behind her. She felt the warm rush of the shockwave, and glanced over her shoulder just long enough to make sure her companion, Katsura, was still on his feet. The buildings had melted into a blur around her, but she still wasn't fast enough—not when there were cop cars and a bazooka-wielding maniac chasing them.
"This wouldn't have happened if you had just stuck to the plan!" (F/N) snapped.
"I did stick to the plan!" Katsura insisted for the hundredth time. "We were supposed to wear cat costumes—"
"Why the hell would we wear cat costumes? I thought we'd agreed on the monk outfits—"
"No, cat costumes! And we were supposed to meet in front of the building—"
"No, we were supposed to meet behind!"
"And we were supposed to place the bomb on the third floor—"
"The first! What is wrong with you?"
There was another explosion. Katsura grabbed (F/N)'s arm, and pulled her into one of the side roads. Up ahead, the road forked. The two exchanged a glance.
"Meet you at the usual spot," (F/N) said.
Katsura nodded, and before they parted ways, (F/N) said one last thing.
"By 'the usual spot,' I mean the hotel, not the restaurant, you idiot!"

There was a hotel in the outskirts of Edo that served as a sanctuary for rebels like (F/N) and Katsura. It was just a little hole in the wall, but the people there were unlikely to ask any questions about strange things—like men in cat suits and girls in monk costumes.
"What do you mean there's only one room?"
Katsura slammed his hands on the front desk. (F/N) winced, but the receptionist had the same dead look in her eyes as the average night shift worker at a twenty-four hour convenience store.
"I'm sorry, but we only have a single room available--one bed. Take it or leave it."
"One--one bed--"
They hadn't even accepted the offer, and he was already bright red. At the sight of it, (F/N) groaned, and slapped a random amount of money on the counter.
"We'll take it."
"Wha—(F/N)-dono—"
(F/N) snatched they key from the woman's hand, and stalked down the hall, Katsura at her heels.
"(F/N)-dono, what are you doing? We can't share a bed! It's—it's..."
(F/N) spotted their door, and jammed the key into the lock.
"It's what?"
"It's...improper."
(F/N) scoffed, and threw open the door. "Improper? Zura, we're terrorists!"
"It's not Zura, it's Katsura! And what does being terrorists have to do with this?"
(F/N) dragged him inside, and closed and locked the door.
"We were about to bomb a building earlier today, and you're worried about etiquette? Seems a little strange to me."
"I...I..."
