My Life Is Different

Chapter Seven

Jake and I are back home. I'm finally eighteen and Jake turned nineteen a few weeks back. He's gone out every night since his birthday and he hardly ever messages me. My sister is on break for her camp she practically lives at the camp but she's also going to college I don't know how she does it but she does, she's also been hanging out with Sam a lot more which I don't have a problem with I'm glad she's making new and better friends.

Austin has a new girlfriend her name is Addison they dated for two months before deciding to move in with each other. We rarely hear from him anymore. Jade and Chris have been dating for six months. They are so cute together Jake and I have been dating for a year and eleven months we had to celebrate our first Christmas on tour as well as our one year but Jake promised me that our next Christmas will be spent home and with all of our family members.

Ted went to some camp he comes home soon and Jade she's just like me there is no more Miss Gloomy she's all happy and cheerful she's actually borrowing my clothes I don't mind though. My dad and Bethany are going stronger than ever and I'm so happy for them.

I'm sitting on my bed painting my nails fire red when I heard my phone chimed and I smiled but once I saw the message my smile dropped

"Hey Payton we all have hangovers so no coming over today"

It's Chris. I huffed this message is the same as the others

"Whatever I'm going out anyways"

"No you're not"

"You don't own me and I am going out wether you like it or not"

I got off my bed. I looked at my outfit I'm wearing a gray hoodie with blue jeans, I put my hair in a low side pony tail. I put on my tan uggs and went downstairs with Baylor following he's been at my side ever since my dad left. He's in New York for business. I grabbed Baylor's leash off the wall and he started going crazy I smiled. I bent down to hook his leash to his collar and then we went out the door.

As we walked around people kept coming up asking for my autograph which I didn't mind and neither did Baylor. I'm signing a picture for a little girl when Baylor decided to run off I quickly finished with the girl and ran after Baylor. Dodging traffic and running in between people he finally stopped I saw a hand pick up his leash. I ran over and saw that the person has dirty blonde hair with caramel eyes he smiled at me,

"This your dog?"

"Yeah"

He handed me his leash "I'm Justin"

"Payton" I said while shaking his hand "and this is Baylor"

"Nice to meet you Payton" he kneeled down and petted Baylor "and you too Baylor"

Justin looked back at me he's wearing a plaid button down shirt with a white under shirt with blue jeans and white shoes,

"I'm heading to Joes to get a drink would you like to join me?"

"Yeah that sounds nice"

We walked off.

After Joes we went on a walk around the park. He told me about him and I told him about myself I even sang a little song for him. As we walked pass the swings I checked my phone "1:00pm! it's late I've spent four hours with him!"

"Everything ok?" Justin asked

"Umm y-yeah I just didn't know it was this late"

He looked at his phone and then back at me "do you have some where to be?"

"I had to be at the studio at 12:30 Chase is going to kill me!"

"Let me take you"

"You sure I don't want to be a bother"
