Chapter Twenty Six

Within fifteen maybe twenty minutes a camera crew showed up. I'm watching them set up in different areas while standing at the top of the hill I heard my name, looking towards the roar of people I saw a crowd full of girls and boys. I sat down in the grass and not too far behind someone sat beside me,

"Who are all these people?"

"Granny these people are here to take pictures of me"

"And you need them screaming people for what?"

"Encouragement their my fans"

"Well darlin if you wanted fans we got plenty in the shed"

I started laughing "I love you granny"

She hugged me I gave her one in return

"I love you too...matter of fact we all do everyone in this family loves you so don't ever doubt in your mind that no one does"

I smiled "I never do"

Just then Jake along with the girls came over,

"We're ready"

I stood up "are you going to watch?"

"I always do don't I?" he smirked

I headed over to where all the cameras are.

After the photo shoot the photographer came over to Jake and I,

"do you mind if we get a few of the power couple?" he asked

Jake looked at me and I huffed

"fine but only a few"

He smiled and walked away with us following behind him.

Finally the entire photo shoot is done I decided to see some fans and Jake wasn't too far behind. Ashton and his brothers are talking to them,

"Pay how come you didn't tell us you're famous?" Toby asked

"Thought it would be pretty obvious when the huge bus pulled up" I laughed

I started taking pictures with fans and signing autographs. Once I was done with my fans I went and laid down in the grass,

"Payton!"

I sat up and saw Chase walking this way

"what?" I groaned

"I just got a call someone wants you to do an interview" he sat beside me

"I don't want to...schedule it after my break"

"It's just one interview" he protested

"Yeah then it will be a radio interview after that a meet and greet and then some time after that I'll be in the studio! I just wanted to do the photo shoot"

I heard camera clicks in the distance and saw the paparazzi heading my way. I groaned and got up leaving Chase sitting on the hill.

-Jakes P.O.V-

I saw Payton storm down the hill with the paparazzi right behind her. I went up the hill where the team is trying to get the whole story,

"What's up with Payton?" I asked

"I asked her to do an interview and she totally flipped out" Chase informed

"She's on break she only wanted to do the photo shoot" I protested

"Chase" it's Bethany "she's still a little new give her some time"

"She can't have all the time in the world because she needs to get ready to start her tour and she"

"Whoa wait" I interrupted "her tour?"

"Yeah her tour is going to start soon and I need to get her ready"

they all looked at me

"Didn't she tell you?" Jason asked

"No"

"Maybe she just didn't know how" Bethany said "she's never had to leave you, you always left her"

"Let me go talk to her" Chase said while getting up

I sat in the grass with my knees close to my chest "her tour?" I thought "God only knows how long she'll be gone I mean if I can come there isn't a problem but if I can't I don't know what I'm going to do I hate her being without me maybe I can ask Chase if I can come"

I saw Chase running up the hill sweaty and out of breath "she's...she's...she's gone!!"

"Not again"

I stood up

"What do you mean?" Jason asked

"She's not in any of the rooms!"

Ashton along with his brothers came running up,

"What's wrong?" Luke asked

"Payton's gone" Chase said "and I have to get to New York I have business to attend to...call me when you find her"

"Ok" Jason said

Chase said his goodbyes and left,

"Where could she be?" Toby asked

"Boys you saddle up and check the woods and fields" their dad ordered

"I'm coming"

their dad glared at me "Ashton saddle up Leroy"

"Ok"

They took off and I followed behind them.

We entered the barn and Luke is already grabbing the saddles and reins while Toby and Ashton are getting the horses,

"Alright Angel is gone so she's out riding" Toby informed

"She can't go out by herself there are wolves out there" Ashton said

"Pretty boy!" Luke said

"It's Jake"

"Yeah whatever you go get the dogs" he said "their inside just whistle and they'll come running out"

I left the barn and went to the house and whistled for the dogs, two pointers came running out. I called for Baylor but he didn't show "she must've taken him with her" I ran back out to the barn to see the guys already on the horses,

"Saddle up and let's go!" Toby yelled

I got on the horse and we left.

"Why does she always need to leave"
