Chapter Twenty-Three

The car ride home was extremely quiet. I couldn't tell if Jake was mad at me or upset I just knew it had something to do with me. Once we got home he went straight into the house it's strange he normal opens my door and helps me out but instead he went right inside while I got out the kids and their stuff.

When I got inside I went into the kitchen and saw a note saying that my family did last minute Christmas shopping and we have to be at church by eight-thirty. I told the kids to start getting ready since it was seven-thirty. I went into the living room and saw Baylor sprawled out on the couch sleeping I sat in the white chair and pulled out my phone and got on twitter,

I went to the trends and saw one that I knew had to do with me Mall Brawl I scrolled through the tweets and they are all dissing Tiffany. I went to Jakes timeline,

@JakeThomas: I really despise people who disrespect my girlfriend...how could you say that to her? But you know what...Karma's a bitch

I laughed and then got off the chair and went upstairs. I entered his room and saw him laying on his bed with only his boxers on,

"Baby!" he yelled

I laughed and ran over to the bed and crawled over him and straddled him he smiled at me placing his hands on my hips,

"I love you"

He leaned up and kissed my lips,

"Pay I ready!" I heard Carly's voice say

I turned around and saw her standing there with her white dress backwards,

"Umm sweetie the bow is supposed to go in the back"

She looked down at her dress. I got off of Jake and went to help Carly,

"Thanks a lot Carly" I heard him mumble

"Be nice" I laughed

After getting Carly ready I got myself ready. I just finished my make up when I saw Carly standing in the doorway her hair looking a mess,

"Come here" I smiled

She skipped over and stood in front of me while I put her hair half-up half-down with curls,

"There" I faced her towards the mirror "you're beautiful"

She spotted my lipgloss then looked at me,

"Your brother is going to kill me"

I opened the pink lipgloss and put a little bit on her we took a mirror picture and I put it on Instagram

She smiled when she saw it automatically have over three hundred thousand likes,

"There are my girls!" Jakes voice beamed

"Where else would we be?" I laughed

Carly ran over and he picked her up. I couldn't help but smile as he interacted with his younger sister "he's going to be a great dad" the way he smiles at her makes butterflies throw a party in my stomach,

"Does Carly have make up on?" he groaned

"Just lip gloss" I reassured
