Chapter Twenty

Jake and I walked into the house. We went on a ride just the two of us something we needed to do. After talking to Oliver I wanted to be with the one I loved and no one else. We came through the front door,

"I love you" he said

"I love you too"

We walked through the greeting room and into the living room most of the people left. Our friends came running over asking where we went and what we did,

"Did you guys have sex?" Chris asked

"What?!" I exclaimed "no"

He shrugged his shoulders,

"Where is he?!" I heard a voice yell

"Ya where's Jake?"

"You said he was here!"

"Did you lie to us?!"

We turned the corner and saw four teenaged girls wearing red and white sparkle dresses,

"Look there he is!" one yelled

they all ran over and shoved me out of the way "quadruplets the mom must be so proud" I continued to look at them

"could their dresses get any shorter?"

"Probably" I turned around and saw Ryan "You ok?"

"Yeah...I'm used to girls drooling over my guy"

"You sure"

I looked back at them and they are walking away with him

"No" I huffed "I'm going to go relax upstairs"

"Want me to come with you?"

"If you want"

I went up the steps with him following.

We went into my room and I went into the bathroom and changed into my pajamas which is Jakes tour merchandise while Ryan laid on my bed,

"What movie do you want to watch?!" he yelled

"Nothing scary!"

"Scary movie two it is!"

"Ryan! no"

I heard him laugh "ok how about The Fault In Our Stars?"

"No I feel as if I'm the only girl who doesn't want to watch it"

"Alright what about"

"Doctor Dolittle" I said interrupting him

"Ok"

I finished putting on my pajamas and walked out and laid in the bed and got comfortable while he got the movie ready,

"Can you go pop the popcorn?"

"whhhyyy?" I whined

"Because"

I groaned and rolled off the bed

"Thank you!"

"Shut up"

"I love you"

"Yeah yeah"

I ran down the steps and into the kitchen, went to the cupboard and got out the popcorn and unwrapped it from the plastic then threw it into the microwave hit two minutes then I got out my phone and went on twitter,

I locked my phone and checked how much longer I have,

"Really it's already been two minutes"

"Microwave minutes are longer than regular minutes"

I turned and saw Chris coming over he looked at the microwave and laughed,

"It would also help if you hit start"

I rolled my eyes,

"So movie night with Ryan?"

He arched an eyebrow

"Not like that it's just Jakes with fans and I don't want to come between them"

"You know he doesn't like you and Ryan alone"

"he'll be fine with it"

"Okaayyy" he dragged out

"Goodbye"

I got out the popcorn and ran upstairs and into my room,

"Ryan you'll never believe what-"

I saw Jake standing in my room in a white t-shirt and black basketball shorts I stood by the door,

"what are you doing in here? I thought"

"Well you thought wrong"

He crossed his arms over his chest I sat the popcorn on the table,

"What was Ryan doing up here?"

"We were going to watch a movie together since you were busy"

"How many times have I told you that I'm never too busy when it comes to you!" his voice is rising "do you realize that Ryan likes you?"

"No he doesn't"

"Really Payton how stupid are you?! he just wants to get you alone! and you let him" he exhaled

"Me stupid? Are you serious?!"

I know he's mad but calling me stupid is out of line

"Since you want to leave me to go talk to other guys"

I looked at him shocked "what are you"

"I heard about your little escape with some boy"

"Yeah because I told Ryan to go tell you and his name is Oliver"

"Well why don't you go lay with Oliver since you want to lay with other guys"

he paced back and forth

"You're making this more than what it should be"

"No! you know what?"

"What?" I crossed my arms over my chest

He looked out the window "Since you want to lay and be with other guys then we should just break up I can have any girl I want I don't know why I picked you"

That hurt me more than anything in the world is this how he really feels? because if it is I don't what to be around it

"I always asked myself the same question"

A tear ran down the side of my face. He turned around and finally faced me and the expression he has on shows me he just realized what he had said,

"I-if that's what you want" I said with my voice breaking and more tears falling from my eyes "then go be with one of those girls downstairs maybe you'll finally be happy"

I went out of my room and into one of the spare rooms I shut and locked the door.
