My Life Is Different

Chapter Thirty-Nine

Being in love is harder than it looks if you really think about it. You have to trust that person so much and when they break the trust you completely break down not wanting to move on. Love hurts.

Tonight is my last concert. I woke up and checked my phone it's 7:30am and to my surprise I don't have any messages or missed calls. I got out of bed and saw Maria and Baylor laying on the other bed. I looked behind me and saw Jake asleep with one hand underneath the pillow and one where I was laying. I got off the bed and got dressed.

I wore a white tank top with black leggings then pink and gray running shoes. I put my hair in a pony tail. My door opened and my dad came in,

"Ready to go?" he asked

I called for Baylor and hooked him to his leash then laid Maria next to Jake. I looked at my dad and smiled. We walked out of the room with the guards following,

"How'd you sleep?" my dad asked

"Pretty good what about you?"

"Pretty good"

We went down the steps since we didn't want to take the elevator,

"So you came here with Jake?"

"Yeah...I wasn't going to let him be with you alone"

I laughed and we left the hotel and started our morning run.

Once the run was over I immediately went to dance rehearsal. My dad had to leave early because he had to go and be with one of his other artist at an award show. I'm rehearsing with my dancers when the doors sprung open and a little girl ran through,

"Mommy!"

I smiled once I heard the familiar voice. She ran over and I hugged her

"Hey princess" I smiled when I saw her bright blue eyes light up "what are you doing here?"

"We came to see you!" she beamed

I looked back at my dancers who are watching Maria and I they all know that she's my daughter,

"Alright everyone take five"

They all went their separate ways. I went over to Jake with Baylor following, he has his phone in his hand typing away but once he saw me he locked it and put it in his pocket,

"Hey you" I smiled

He smiled and kissed me.

We're walking around the set when we heard people screaming our name we looked over by the fence and saw our fans,

"Do you want to go over?" Jake asked

"I'm ok"

"Alright well I'm going"

"Alright love you"

"Love you too"

I watched as he went over with his fans they way he interacts with them is perfect. I looked down at Maria,

"Come on Maria lets go back to the dance studio"

She took my hand and we went back. As I was rehearsing Maria was dancing as well and she's really good "I see a dance class in her future" I looked at my dancers and they are watching her.

Rehearsal is over and Jake isn't back yet. Maria and I are walking out of the building and I checked the time 11:30am,

"Let's go get something to eat" I said

"What about daddy?"

"He'll catch up"

She smiled and we got in the car and left.
