So a walk in the woods turned into a rescue. I'm standing here trying to figure out how to get this little girl out from a thorn bush without hurting her. I don't have any tools and I really don't want to call everyone because I don't want to scare her more than what she already is. I laid down on the ground and was able to get a better look at her and she looks a mess, "God only knows how long she's been out here" her hair is filled with dirt and grass she has crystal clear blue eyes and an olive tone skin complextion. Her face is just as dirty as her clothes and hair
"Hi" I said soft and sweetly
"Hi" her voice is little so she can't be that old
"What's your name?"
"Maria what's yours?"
"Payton and you have a beautiful name"
she smiled "Thanks"
she held onto a bear that laid beside her,
"Is that your bear?"
she nodded "his name is Charlie"
"PAYTON!" I heard someone yell
her face showed fear, "Wh-who is that?"
"My dad I'll be back"
"Promise?" she asked
"Promise"
"Pinky swear?"
she stuck out her little finger and I wrapped my finger around hers
"Pinky swear"
I got up and ran towards my dad who I know is probably worried. I spotted him looking for me,
"Dad!" I yelled
he looked at me and relief filled his eyes. I ran over to him,
"Come on Payton we need to get back and start packing we're going home today"
"Ok but-"
"No buts come on"
"No!" I yelled which grabbed the attention of everyone and made them come over,
"What's going on?" Bethany asked
instead of beating around the bush I decided to come out and say it "I found a little girl underneath a thorn bush"
they all looked at me shocked,
"Are you serious?" Devon asked
"Why would I lie about something this serious?"
"I don't know because you're an attention whore" Cameron laughed
I crossed my arms over my chest "I don't need to deal with stupid people right now because there is a little girl underneath a thorn bush scared and alone I need to get back to her" I faced Jake "You can deal with your friends or come with me your choice" I know I sound like a complete bitch right now but I seriously don't have time to deal with them.
Jake walked away with his friends following. Ouch, that hurt,
"Alright" my dad said "Bethay and I will go with Payton"
"Ashton you and your brothers take some of the horses back we'll only need a few, Austin and Rachel you go call 9-1-1 and wait for them to show up once they do led them to were we are"
We all went our ways. I'm back by the bush and I laid down on the ground with my dad and Bethany right beside me,
"Oh my gosh her eyes" Bethany exclaimed "There so beautiful"
