Chapter Seventeen

I finished at the studio and pulled into the driveway. No one should be worried I told my dad where I was. I got out of the car and went into the house. The smell of warm pancakes, crispy bacon and warm butter toast made my stomach growl. I walked into the kitchen and everyone is sitting down eating a few stares came my way but then they went back to focusing on their food,

"Grab a plate and sit down" my dad said while stuffing pancakes in his mouth

"I'm good I just had coffee and plus I need to go get ready?

"For what?" Bethany asked

"Just some photo shoot set up"

"Well that will be fun" Ms Thomas chimed

"Will guys be there?" Jake asked

"Uhh I think he said that they want to do a Mr. and Mrs. Claus thing since Christmas is coming"

"You will be clothed right?" my brother asked

"Yes...well I'm going to get ready take a shower and everything"

I went up the steps and into my room.

After I took a shower I wore dark blue jeggings a neon pink shirt with black Jordans. I curled my hair and put a white cheer bow in it, I'm just finishing my make up when I spotted Jake standing in the doorway he's in a white t-shirt, blue jeans and timberlands with a north face while spinning the car keys on his index finger. I turned around and faced him,

"Where are you going looking all cute?"

He chuckled which led to a smile,

"With you"

He came over and hugged me. My arms wrapped around him,

"Look I'm really sorry for the way I acted yesterday I should've"

"no" I said cutting him off "I'm sorry I should've told you that they were here"

"You shouldn't be sorry I'm the one that"

"Let's just both be sorry" I laughed

he kissed me "we make a great team"

"Got that right Mr. Thomas"

"Are you sleeping with me tonight?"

"Of course"

He smiled and kissed my cheek

"I love you"

"I love you more" I stated

He shook his head "not possible"

I took his hand

"Alright let's get you to this photo shoot"

I nodded then grabbed my hoodie Jake got me and we left.

After the photo shoot Jake and I decided to go on a walk. It's lightly snowing we're walking hand in hand. We may fight and argue over little things but there isn't anyone I'd rather be with. I know he cares about me and I care about him. Love is like a roller coaster there are ups and downs and you get scared at times but you know the ending will always be safe.

We're walking on the sidewalk when I picked up a handful of snow and threw it at Jake he laughed and I ran with him following. I guess I didn't look where I was going and I slipped on ice but someone caught me,

"Whoa! you ok?"

"Yeah just forgot about the ice" I laughed

Once I managed to stand I faced my catcher he has dark blue eyes and jet black hair he smiled at me and I smiled back, Jake ran up,

"You ok?"

"Yeah thanks to" I trailed off

"Dan"

Jake held onto my hand. Dan keeps looking at me and by the body language Jake is giving he's not too happy and Dan can tell he faced Jake,

"Dude chill I'm not tryin to steal your girl" he looked back at me "you better get ya boy before I do"

"Excuse me?" I said with irritation in my voice

"Get your home wreckin booze drinkin ass wipe before I do"

This male. I cleared my throat,

"Listen here first off what you need to do is get a dictionary thrown at your face to look up the correct pronunciation of the words second no one talks shit about my boyfriend in front of me and expect me not to say anything"

He moved closer to me "what are you going to do about it you little bitch?"

Jake stood in front of me "hey watch it!"

I looked around and people are coming out of their houses and dark vans pulled up "great the paparazzi they show up it will get worse" I held onto Jakes arm,

"Jay come on he's not worth it"

"Yeah listen to the little whore" Dan sneered

I can feel Jake getting mad

"Jay can we please go I'm cold"

He looked at me his eyes went from anger to softness

"Yeah let's go"

I exhaled and we headed to the car.
