Jake and I are mingling in the crowd. So many have came up to us asking us how we have been and that we are cute together also relatives have been asking when the wedding is. Jake is wearing a dark red sweater with black slacks and black dress shoes he looks so handsome right now. Jakes hand has never let go of mine since we came down the steps which I don't mind I like showing people that he's mine and I'm his. This house is packed with plenty of people I don't know and few that I do it's really weird an older lady came over and hugged me she smells like lavender and has on a white dress with a red pearl necklace I had to bend down to hug her,

"Payton! It's been forever I remember when you were just a wee thing"

I put on a smile and then she left Jake move closer to me,

"Do you know who that is?"

"No clue"

He chuckled and we continued to talk amongst the crowd. My feet started to hurt so we went to the couch before I had the chance to sit Jake pulled me onto his lap I smiled and kissed his cheek my dad walked by and looked at us "off" he said and with the tone he used he didn't need to tell me twice. I rolled my eyes and got up following my dad. We went into the kitchen and I saw all men "friends of my dad" I spotted him standing beside a man in an ugly blue and green sweater. I stood in front of him with my hands on my hips,

"Yes?" he grinned

"As if you don't know" I laughed

"Jason this your daughter?" ugly sweater guy asked

"Yeah this is my little girl" he chuckled

"Not so little anymore" a guy in a purple shirt asked

I rolled my eyes "why?"

"Not the time and place"

I huffed "ok"

I turned around and started to walk back to Jake but someone pulled me aside I looked at him and he has bleach blonde hair with emerald green eyes he's wearing a navy blue hoodie covered with a black leather jacket and jeans with white high tops,

"Is this how you dress at all parties?" I laughed

He smiled and shook his head "sorta but I would rather be comfortable all night than in pain"

"Got that right" I laughed

I looked down at my feet and then back at him,

"Why don't you go upstairs and take those off then meet me outside"

"Umm ok"

He nodded then walked out back. I ran up the steps and took the shoes off and put on black ugg boots and looked in the mirror "this kinda matches" I said out loud,

"You look comfortable" a voice chimed

I turned around and saw Ryan,

"Good"

"Where are you going?"

I walked pass him and down the steps

"Going to talk to someone tell Jake I'll be back and not to worry"

Ryan followed me to the back door. I looked out and saw bleach blonde boy he waved at me I looked back at Ryan,

"You're going outside. alone. with a guy. looking like that"

"Yes. now can you please go tell Jake where I am"

I could tell he doesn't like this but they need to learn to trust me,
