My Life Is Different

Chapter Sixteen

I'm on the couch watching tv it's the next morning and everyone is out of the house besides Jake and I which I'm perfectly fine with because I love being alone with him we don't do anything because we don't know what time someone will come home or if my dad placed hidden cameras in the house.

Jake is upstairs still sleeping even though its going on tweleve thirty. Jake and I did have a long night, no we didn't have sex because like I said god only knows if my dad placed cameras in the house. We just talked about our future and how many kids we want to have. I said two and Jake wants sixs.

"Payton!"

I recoginzed that voice too well,

"Yes Ryan?"

his footsteps increased and then I felt a heavy weight ontop of me,

"Umm ouch!" I yelled

"Aww did I hurt you?"

"Umm yeah you aren't exactly the lightess person"

he laughed "And its all muscle sweetheart"

he flexed and I pushed him off of me. He sat in front of me and then grabbed some grapes out of the bowl on the table,

"So what are you doing today?"

"I'm doing it" I laughed taking some grapes

he just looked at me "Are you serious?"

"Justin's coming over too he said that he wanted to keep me company"

Ryan groaned "What does Jake think about that?"

I shrugged "I don't know Jake is asleep"

someone knocked on the door

"That would be Justin" I got up and went over to the door "You see how he knocks"

"Yeah yeah yeah" Ryan said annoyed

I went over and opened to the door to see Justin,

"Hey beautiful"

I scoffed "Beautiful like a donkey I'm in my pajamas and I have no make up on"

"That's when you look the prettiest"

"Shut up Justin" I laughed

We walked into the house.

I'm laying on Justins chest. Ryan went upstairs to get Jake up Justin's arm wrapped around me just then Ryan stood in front of us,

"Jake wants to see you" he said

A million thoughts ran through my head. I over think way too much. I got off Justin and went up the steps which seemed so much longer now. My stomach is in knots. My heart is racing and my palms are sweating. I got to his door and crack it,

"Come here"

his voice isn't soft and gently it's rough and hard. I felt like throwing up right there in the door way,

"Y-yes"

"Shut the door"

I walked in and shut the door behind me. I didn't look at him I focused on the carpet it's so white even though we have a dog,

"Come here"

I just stood here staring at the carpet my hands are behind my back,

"Can you look at me?"

I shook my head

"Is it because you did something wrong?"

I nodded. This carpet is getting more and more interesting. I then saw feet in front of mine, black shorts and abs "Great he's shirtless I swear he does this on purpose"

"Who's downstairs?"

"Ryan" I quietly said

"Anyone else?"

Ryan must've told him

"Yeah"

"Who?"

"Justin" I said softly

he's not mad at me for leavings he's just mad about me being alone with guys which is understandable,

"Did you invite them?"

"No they just kinda showed up"

His eyes are burning into me,

"And you didn't come and tell me! My girlfriend someone I can't live without is downstairs with two guys who are bigger and stronger than her not to mention alone!"

He stormed pass me and out the door. I groaned and followed him I got to the top of the steps and heard yelling I quickly ran in to the living room,

"Who in the hell gave you permission to come to my house!" Jake yelled

"Jake calm down" Justin said "I just wanted to check on Payton"

"You don't need to!" he yelled

They just kept going back and forth and as if things weren't bad enough Ryan jumps in. I could tell things are about to get physical I quickly got in between them,

"You guys are friends!" I hollered "I'm just going to stay out of the way"

I looked at Jake and he looked hurt,

"What are you talking about?" Jake asked

"I'm just going to be focusing on my music for a while which I kinda need to I'm going to be bringing out an album soon"

I walked away and up to my room and decided to take a nap.

I'm at the studio sitting in the chair listening to some of the new songs when the door opened I spun around and saw Chase walking in with Starbucks,

"So heard you pulled an all nighter here"

I smiled slightly "yeah right after my nap I came here and stayed"

"Everything ok?" he asked handing me my pumpkin spice latte

"Yeah I guess"

"What's wrong?"

He sat in the chair across from me,

"I've just been thinking"

"About what?"

"All of this" I said "being his girlfriend, starting a singing career just everything"

"What made you think about all this?"

"Well Justin and Ryan came over to the house yesterday and let's just say things weren't so peaceful"

"I see" he said "well you know Jake loves you and he hates being without you"

"I know that's why I made this song"

He raised an eyebrow at me I faced the computer and music came flowing through and then my voice. Chase smiled at me,

"What's this called?"

"Our Love Travels Around The World"

"I love it"

I smiled "can we say new single?"

"Let's get your first album out and then we can work on another single"

"When does that come out?"

"You know what songs you're putting on it?"

I nodded

"What about the album cover?"

I nodded

"Album title?"

"New Beginnings" I said with a smile

"couldn't ask for a better client"

"And I couldn't ask for a better manager"

He smiled, I played him the rest of the songs.
